No open dialogue over this? Lock = Ban? I have hundreds of weapons by playing fairly since April, IF I locked a server I wouldn't really gain anything - FACT. Are people just upset because they haven't got good gear yet? Or think that the draconian server rules are perfectly legit? Everything is so black & white, no grey. For a game in Alpha that is not good. So yeah Alpha will b over in 3-4 months maybe less and we will be playing a live game, all this banning will be completely redundant and really pretty spiteful. Maybe if Rocket took out the AS50, Guillie & L85 AWS we would have less duping, hell fix the duping already. But we are in Alpha, like Rocket cares now, new game is out soon all focus is on that not on an alpha version of a mod.

Hiya, Sounds just what i'm looking for, I've been playing since April too but it's getting to be a bit lonely up north with only the sheep the keep me company. i'm based in Wales btw, have all chat clients but prefer TS/vent/mumble over skype. There sorta used to be when we had the bandit skin. Not perfect but you were much more willing to trust someone back then if they had the right skin. Conversely you would shoot on sight the guys with bandit skins. Since that change however dayz has fallen into anarchy. It's a tricky design challenge and i'm sure we haven't seen the last of it. high Morality should benefit you and low morality should cause a penalty. Those of you that play EVE Online, think sec status.

Hopefullly, they are like there own little ecosystem, a sandbox within a sandbox if you will. You never know he might implement things into the live version if they proved sucessful on private hives. Also number 1 rule of PC FPS, dont piss off the server admin. If you don't like it just move to another server it''s not like there is a lack of them anymore.

I think the drop rate from rabbits is pretty crappy like 0.10% However, this one time at dayz camp it dropped a Ural for me. Keep trying and you may get lucky next time.

So skins aside how should players morality affect their experience in game? Maybe Long term metal health issues for low morality players, but how do you translate that into the game without giving advantages/disadvantages? BTW I think being a Carebear in this game is perfectly ok, it's a survival game. Being a carebear in Eve Online is not ok, it's a PvP game.

Don't go swimming with your backpack on you may loose things inside. Use a main weapon (not pistol) when climbing ladders. You can fit another main weapon in your backpack.

Damit I saw this on an EU server last nite, thought is was a bug as I had just picked up a GPS & Map. Really wish i had screen shotted now though as there was a bunch of peeps at the very bottom left of the map, way out at sea. Guess that would of been the players responsible.
