Base components Disappearing on server restart
Aidsplosion replied to Aidsplosion's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
So it seems that the fences are saved under the "instance_deployable" table. Everything is there, along with the camonet_DZ,stashmedium, etc(which are being generated properly), but it's just not there on restart. I'm not familiar with the monitor system you are referring to. any tips where to start? Thanks -

Hey, I'm using DayzCC, their latest version (1.8.4.1), but using my own external DB with SQLyog. I've checked dayzcc for a similar error and came up with a topic http://dayzcc.org/index.php/Thread/7627-State-of-Items-Not-Saving/?postID=49205&highlight=items.xml#post49205 But they state that it's not related to their program, so I'm confused. Seriously, anyone can help me? I can provide full logs of object ID being created. I really need help with this. It's driving me nuts. I can even make a donation to your server or something. Thanks again -
Base components Disappearing on server restart

Bump bump. Anyone can help? This is seriously affecting our ability to make bases. Thanks! -
I'm not exactly sure about the folder architecture for Combined Operations, since I've bought the 2 games separately. However, the addon files need to be in the same main folder (aka Operation Arrowhead) in order for the server to locate them. Glad you were able to fix your issues B)
-
I'm pretty sure of the answer the dev team will give, so I'll go ahead and say it myself: Dayzcc isn't supported directly by the mod team, so you'll probably have to address your issue directly on the dayzcc.org site. Regarding the CA_Dubbing_Countattack' message: You need to add the Arma 2/addons folder and all its content in your arma 2 Operation Arrowhead folder

Truth is: I don't think a lot of people remember what true "Good Old DayZ" is anymore. And that description in itself is very vague. We mostly remember when it started going to sh*t, which was when people started making extensive mods and adding a bunch of cars. Some will say the "vanilla" is the standard non-modded current version. But even this is quite different from the experience I remember back in 2012. Since we all have a different opinion of what is good old, we all make our server according to what we think it was. Either that, or some just don't care and cram as many mods in it as possible. I remember back in the turn of the Millenium, when Unreal Tournament 99 multiplayer got destroyed because all you could find was heavily modded servers with snipers only maps.

Hi, I know that BEC has been terminated, and I also know that you can continue using it by changing your host setting, However I need to reinstall it and I can't seem to find a download link. Anyone can send it to me directly? would be very appreciated Thanks

Any hints/tips for a new Mod player?
Aidsplosion replied to cheeseburger8's topic in New Player Discussion
It depends on what you want to do with the game. When it started, it was more like a social thing than a real game. It simply required cooperation to get anything done. Some people modded their servers so much than this aspect has been lost. People "do" KOS in these, because there is actually no point in teaming up. If you want to play alone, definitely go on Epoch or something like that. But since you have a lot of experience with the SA, you can probably handle yourself within 1-2 days of playing, make friends, create alliances, militias on more difficult servers, like the vanilla ones. -
Invasion-DayZ is looking for an (experienced) admin to monitor the server. Preferably someone from Europe, as most of our staff is around New York time, but it's not mandatory. We are looking for someone who has experience running a server and can help with a couple of scripting add-ons. A quick bio of our server: Invasion-Dayz is vanilla, hosted on a dedicated server. We're in our first month of existence and are already in the top 400 gametracker. We have player peaks around 10-15 daily and growing. There is a lot of room for improvement and we are looking for a committed admin that want to make the journey with us. complete topic about server info here Thanks! Contact me here or in private

We are looking for developers, moderators and new members!
Aidsplosion replied to dayzcenter's topic in Clan / Group Recruitment
I have to mention that I got confused for a while, as your logo and name reminds me a lot of DayZ Control Center, which is a server management tool But hey, good luck with your new server! :D -
Personally we don't have that problem, since we're aiming for a more traditional gameplay experience, but yeah, I can see where you're going with that and it does make sense.

Invasion-DayZ: North American Vanilla Server
Aidsplosion replied to Aidsplosion's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Many thanks, River :) FYI: we are now displayed on DayZLauncher. It seems that since we we're running on DayCC, the launcher had trouble displaying our server. They fixed it an hour ago. -
Jesus christ, you killed like 4 of them. Good job mate!

Hey all, I'm not exactly new on DayZ. Been playing since the time Mountain Dew was rare as sh*t(2012), but I am new on the forum. Been reading it once in a while until I stopped playing for about a year back in 2014. A month ago, I reinstalled the mod. I decided it was the right time to join in and talk to some people around here. In-game name is Aidsplosion, or sometime I goes by the name Priest of Elektro, killing people while quoting the bible I always carry in my inventory. In real life, My name is Mark and I'm from Montreal, Canada. To me, the ultimate DayZ experience lies in it's challenge. I don't need my hand to be held. I don't need fancy self bloodbags or deployable bikes and flying buildings. The fun in this game lies in having limited options and make the most out of them.I usually play in strictly vanilla servers and have a profound disdain for Epoch, Wasteland and Overpoch. I'm always looking to play with some experienced players and I help the bambis from time to time. But I can be a real asshole and just KOS for no reason. Depends on the mood. I have a very vast knowledge of DayZ. up to server algorythms. I possess and manage my own dedicated server (see sig. I won't do advertising here. Not the appropriate section). Looking forward to kill some of you in-game! Meet, I mean meet. Really) :beans:

Tell you what, if you ever drop on my server one day , I'll give you a ride to where you wanna go. It's not worth it to kill new players on sight. There's no challenge and they lose interest in the game. Lime skittles. I'm afraid I don't remember that, lol

Why I prefer the DayZ Mod to DayZ Standalione.

Because choppers. End of discussion -
Thanks! Good to see vanilla servers are popping up. This was the reason I stopped. Finding one was almost impossible back in the days.

Hey Thanks Sean! We are running version 1.8.4.1, and implemented a test server yesterday to try out new features. Enjoy!
