    Nope. tried multitudes of different configurations Also followed the instructions here and didn't solved the situation http://www.gametracker.com/forums/forum.php?site=1&thread=94907 What's worst is that DART isn't tracking players(but does see them connecting), neither does steam and dayzlauncher, and BEC can't connect. Can a dev contact me on TS or something. I would gladly compensate for this problem to be fixed quickly. Already lost 50 positions on Gametracker (from 250 to 297)

    and this affect steam, dayzlauncher as well? Thats weird, but I did remember hearding something about a +1 port. Thanks I'll try it out and keep this thread updated

So after finally migrating my server away from DayzCC, and using default server files with no package, I'm experiencing a weird issue where Gametracker tracks the server as "online", but 0 players online(when that's not the case). Check my sig to have an idea of what I'm talking about I thought it was gametracker acting up at first, but I realized that DayzLauncher says the same thing, and that steam also says "no steam users reported by game server" under the "current game" section. I guess it's something I haven't configured properly, but I have a hard time finding what. Server port is 2302 Steamport: 8710 and steamqueryport: 27016 The server just shows up in steam and dayzcommander/launcher. but it always says 0/50 players. Quick help would be extremely appreciated, as this will definitely affect our ranking. Thanks!

    Bring back old dayz!

    Returning to the previous updates will not bring back players together. I personally feel that the whole DayZ community and his behavior is speaking for itself:What do we see right now? 20 different mods with 20 different scattered communities, all working in their own direction. Now it's important to not get confused with a cause VS effect fallacy. People went their separate ways BECAUSE they wanted different things from the game. Not because the game got different in the first place. Every player wants a different experience. The vanilla setting of the official DayZ mod is just appealing to a majority as much as it can. Personally I consider myself a hardcore player, and I'm looking forward to where the next updates will lead. Old school has to be old school, but up to a certain point, it has to stop. Otherwise we would still be living in the dark ages. Progress must be achieved.
  8. I wanted to take 2 minutes of my day to thank our devs, forum moderators and all the people that keep this mod still fresh, updated and playable. As a server owner, I understand that it takes a lot of time, resources, effort and dedication to keep this game running and I applaud that. Keep up the good work and thanks for the frequent updates, We are grateful, even if we whine here and there about a change from time to time. Some of you will read this and think I'm a groupie or something but honestly I don't care. We need more positive around here, and these threads are always too rare among a community that has his fair share of whiners. So long, and see you all on the field. B)

    It's still adding code. For someone like me who doesn't have experience with the original code, it's the same thing. character_data and player_login tables also seem to have additional columns, creating errors when running on a stock db.. Anyway, I'm not trying to bash or anything. You program is great, but it's not 100% what I was looking for. Wish you the best of luck in your project :)

    I also strongly disagree about the Makarov on starting loadout. That's definitely something we are going to remove from inventory if it's implemented.

    Thanks Squadron, you've been very helpful. However I have decided to move away from DayzCC. It plays with some core files, rearranging the code in a serious way and makes the addon of additional features a real pain to implement. What is worst, is that there is all these custom DB tables that have additional fields. It looks like I'll have no choice but to import everything manually one table at a time if I ever want to use the stock DB. Cheers

    While a single "monkey" slang could have been(for the first time) misinterpreted, and the benefit of doubt can be given about specific terms, action should have been taken when it went downhill and a couple of players started ganking him up on side. Commander definitely needs some ban-hammer time, or a warning, if only for thinking he won't get banned for such behavior.
