I've looked more into the problem.. it might have to do with Arma 2OA overall.. and not dayz.

That last report I gave was false as well. On any server I player whether Wasteland or actual DayZ its going black and saying receiving still. My Dayz version is 1.63.125548 I've been playing on CCG, TCF wasteland and it does it too both those servers. I've played some epoch servers and it still does the same thing.. I'm not sure what I updated, but I feel like an update messed this up. It's only this game I'm having problems with.

Most current ones. Any server I join it does this. I uninstalled and successfully installed my graphics drivers again hoping that was the problem.. going to test it out. update.. Did not work.. once I hit Klen with traders my screen went to receiving.. I think once anyone is nearby or I'm near an NPC my screen goes to receiving.

This problem has just started up recently.. When I'm playing at random times my screen will go black and I will get a "receiving..." message then my screen will flicker every few seconds. I can still hear what's around me and type in chat but cannot move my character. This never used to happen and has now just started up. I've looked up the problem and seems a lot of people have been getting it too and they have no idea how to fix it. I have a gaming laptop knowing that shouldn't be the problem. Does anyone know the fix to this?

What everyone else is saying.. Trust no one but yourself.. oh yeah. TeamSpeak is also a plus incase you ever find someone loyal enough to team up with. Have a mic.
