Thanks for reply. But not sure what you mean by running arrowhead to the main menu. I can't run the mod that way unless i manually install them?

Wow, what a map! Yeah, yeah i'm 2 years late to the party but better late than never! :) I played the original mod from may 2012 untill about July the same year. The early days. Then got the standalone at the turn of this year and have been playing it on and off since ( 400 hours) so i decided to give the mod another shot. Reinstalled combined ops and the dlc, played the mod a bit but couldn't get back into it. I think i am just bored shitless of Chernarus!! I remember watching a few vids of Frankie on PC's or whatever he's called and remembered a snowy map with harsh conditions. After a little research i found this map is called Namalsk. So gave it s shot. What an amazing map this is. Incredible atmosphere. Obviously the maker loved the Stalker games! Even has Bloodsuckers lol. Love that i have to keep warm and food is scarce. So if you're sick of chernarus and/or the standalone in general and fancy a change i seriously recommend downloading Namalsk. I can't stop playing it at the moment :)

Hi, I have recently decided to fire up the mod again after about 2 years. So i reinstalled Arma 2 which i then started once. Then i reinstalled Op Arrowhead and again started once. Then i reinstalled British Armed Forces and Private Military Company and again stated them both once. All good so far. Then i downloaded and installed Dayz Commander and used that to install the mod and opted to try Namalsk also.....Oh and i use steam by the way. Everything is fine and i can join a server without any problems and play without issues. So what's the problem i hear you ask? Well, when i click a server to join Dayz Commander starts British Armed forces BEFORE Operation Arrownhead. Everytime. Only for a split second and it doesn't affect my game. The problem is that Steam itself picks this up so whenever i play the mod Steam shows that i have recently played BAF aswell as OA. Which is annoying me :) Why does it do this? It only fires up BAF and not PMC. I also tried Dayz Launcher and it does exactly the same! I know it's not a big deal really but like i said it annoys me, is there anything i can do to stop it or is this the norm? Cheers! EDIT : Here is my steam account. To be fair he isn't really that far out lately. Sure, you'll always find people at military areas all over map. But the sheer amount of people you'll find in the red area dwarfs everywhere else. Obvioulsy we#re talking full servers here. Low pop servers full of hoppers will always have them at military area's....... It's a shame that Elektro and Cherno are so dead these days (especially Cherno). But when no one spawns down there anymore it was always going to happen.

If you're going to include the sawn-off you may aswell include the mp5. But neither are pistols, so for me it has to be the Magnum for the simple reason that it doesn't require a clip. Sure the speedloader is nice but you can fully load it as soon as you find ammo regardless. Unlike the others which you can only chamber. So it's the magnum for me. EDIT. Shouldn't this be in general?

Nice. As above there is a few there i didn't know about. However, i think you'll find 'Bad Santa' is in Cherno not Elektro.

Zombies still pose no threat compared to the mod. There simply are not enough of them in the standalone to be a threat. Yes they are slightly faster than before and a few will respawn if you make alot of noise, but they are so easy to avoid, they still get stuck in walls and floors and still don't chase you very far. Once you get an axe they are no threat at all.

We say 'Zed' here in the UK also. I think it sounds way cooler anyway :) Anyway. I've not watched your vids but anyone that is giving away a couple of copies of this great game for free gets a thumbs up, or should i say can of beans, from me! :thumbsup: :beans:

Good for mid settings for some games already out. As time goes on you will have to lower settings more and more. Would you be happy in a years time playing games on low settings? No of course not. That CPU is ok for now, but it cannot be overclocked easily (or at all) meaning a K version of the i5 (as officer Raymond mentions) is a much better bet for not alot more. Don't know how to overclock? It's easy to learn, especially if you want the best out of your hardware.
