    yeh man im a blue! good time to be a city fan! for a change :) what servers do you play on Blt?

    anywhere from less than an hour to 6 hours, longest was 3 days

    A multiplayer game without chat = a single player experience, communication is a must in my opinion, its binds the community together by allowing people to help one another, swap ideas and just generally communicate and interact with one another! the servers feel like a quiet lonely play right now!

    gaming time is quite precious for me, with work, kids, and life in general i really look forward to the chance to play a game i love, sitting watching an egg timer for 5 min isnt my idea of good gaming! why oh why someone thought this was a good idea i will never know!

    with so many hackers hacking the game, the web site/forum what's the risk to us and gamers from these hackers?

    no, good health no shock, im not the only one this is happening to, but even i did log out when i had shock, how is this a good idea? this is a game its supposed to be fun, how does looking at an egg time timer for 5 min constitute as gaming? i can sit and do nothing anytime i wish.

    so there i was in prone crawling along when a zed spawned on the roof, jumped down knocked me out and started eating me! great! the only thing is it spawned running? it didnt even have time to see me, its like it saw me before it spawned, and immediately spawned in the running animation? pfffttt its getting a bit too much like hard work this game! all the fun has been drained out of it!

    well i thought id try my hand at a game of Arma2 OA only i cant find any servers! there all DayZ servers, its kinda made worse by the fact that the server browser seriously sucks ass! feels like when it came down to the server browser the developers just went "fuck it" who cares! age old problem with PC games i guess! so is there a way to filter out DayZ servers? i have tried playing with the filter, but no joy!

    my first ever pc ran windows 95, closely followed by windows 98 second edition! 32 mb ram a matrox video card with a Voodoo 3 3d video accelerator! and a Pentium 2 cpu at 266 mhz. eventually i upgraded to 64 mb ram so i could quake 2 on full settings at 1024x768 :) you kids dont know you're born!!! ;p

    i never knew he was an aussie! hes said team building aspects are going to introduced to the game at some point! great news! very informative interview!

    just thinking about how you could add a back story to this game! what actually happened? how did the infected become infected! my idea is news papers! each paper would have regular stories in them but would also have a bit of the back story of what happened! and the player would have to read all the papers to get the full story, some papers would be common and some rare.

    i dont even bother playing on night time server now! the only place you get 100% black shadows in the moon! agreed switch to a different server!

    im not talking lag here! i have a good internet connection and get very low pings, and doesnt matter if i turn setting up or down frame rate just seems to take a nose dive on some servers, while some other servers are fine? so just wondering why frame rate seems to be linked with the server you are on?

    ok so im in a darkened room, with no lighting to speak of! im guessing the game has loaded textures, dont quote me on it as i cant see any! so there is no fancy lighting, no textures that i cant see, and the game still runs at 10fps!! i might as well be playing this game at 800x600 with everything set to low! whats the point in having a good graphics card when you cant see anything and anything that i can see look like crap! this game used to fun, LOADS of fun!!! now its an ordeal just to get it working never mind have fun!

    this makes no sense to me, i will either join a server right away with no problems (very very rarely) or i will get really low fps or the "this server is runner 1.7.1 and you are runner 1.7.1.1" (when the server browser quite clearly says it is 1.7.1.1 and not 1.7.1) no sound! or it will just hang on the loading screen! or the character creation screen, it just seems like its pot luck whether you connect successfully or not, sometimes it works but mostly it doesnt, its just getting quite tedious spending most of my time in the server browser!
