Yesterday I was posted in a building waiting for fellow survivors to approach so I could poach some of their goodies. Anyways things didn't go as planned and I ended up running down the building stairs where I was gunned down in the back by an opponent. Luckily, I wasn't dead yet I was just unconscious. My friend who was watching all this happen was able to shoot at the duo who attacked me making them flee for the time being. My buddy stopped the bleeding and went to work on the aggravated zombies that were everywhere. During that time the duo that downed me earlier came back and engaged my friend, there were three different people shooting at this time. During this exchange of fire, my unconscious body was the main focus of attention from the majority of the zombies (per my friends observation). My question is why do zombies attack unconscious players, especially when there are three major factors (3 players firing guns) that should be aggravating the zombies and drawing attention much more then an unconscious corpse?

That's why you gotta play Private servers once .61 hits stable. As guilty as I once was for server hopping, I only play Private now and that problem is 100% remedied by doing so. A lot less sketchy sh!t happens on Private than does a Public server. If you've never tried Private I highly recommend starting a character.

Experienced being pushed by a zombie into "model geometry" yesterday. Was up on the catwalk in one of the big red metal barns, had a zombie running towards me, so I tried to run past it but instead I was pushed through the railings and fell to my death.

100% agree. I've talked to numerous players who have lost everything because of the new persistence, just doesn't give enough time as it is. Something needs to change.

Am I the only one who can't seem to find any netting????? The only "netting" I've found since .59 came out is off of the ghillied people whom I've killed. I'm convinced most of the ghillie suits/wraps/hoods I've seen are duped considering the lack of netting that is currently spawned and the abundance of ghillie suits that I've seen. Does anyone have any suggestions on obtaining netting in a legitimate matter? Has anyone obtained netting in a legitimate matter?

Knew I was going to get a response to that. Anyways, if not server hopping, you have several hours of running to look forward to. :)

How hot is it pilgrim? -
Ghillie wrapped winchester with hunting scope , AKS in backpack, engraved 1911 in plate carrier. Pristine black working gloves. Knife in the boot. Clothes - anything all green, all black or all tan and can't forget the JOEYX's. Other than that, I tend to hoard rope, wire, burlap, fishing hooks, and canteens.

Same idea. Hopefully we could apply this same camouflaging concept to cars. It's so hard to have (keep) nice things!!!

Is there a way to access the entire inventory of the truck? The inventory says 100/140 spaces have been used but I cannot see these other 40 spaces. If I drag a gun to where it says v3s cargo I can place it in there but then I can't see it in the inventory?

Your criticism will always be received negatively until you learn what tact is. Even if your criticism is fair, which it seems to be, your opinions come off as negative when you state them so brashly. Just trying to help you become a more mindful communicator.

It'd be easier to deal with criticism if you didn't insult him right out of the gate "Horrible idea." .....lol

I think this is a great idea. It'd be hard to rationalize in terms of the realism for the game but I feel a having a known reputation may foster better encounters within the DayZ community. You can't blatantly lie to people and pretend to be friendly and then kill them without repercussions to your reputation.

Another one. Able to sprint for miles non-stop, can only manage a snail's pace up a hill Crashing into a sign and every wheel gets shredded like you drove over a spike belt. Shooting a person with a single bullet in the chest and every piece of gear gets ruined.

Runs over long wooden stick with sedan, sedan goes up in flames. Vest takes up 4 slots, vest holster takes up 4 slots, vest pouches take up like 8 slots, vest with pouches and holster - 4 slots Beating open a can of food with a baton..... just kidding i love that :D

One of the hardest things to find... it's up there with 1911 mags. I looted a large portion of Novo and found two CR527 mags surprisingly. I found them in regular houses I believe.

Am I the only person who doesn't dupe gear in this game? Destroying the integrity of the loot system changes the entire dynamic of DayZ game play. Can the devs point to any progress in deterring this type of behavior or is it something we must accept considering the game is in early development.

Hatchback and sedans, especially the hatchback is quite powerful. Perhaps you are having trouble figuring out how the manual transmission works. I know it took me a bit before I got one moving smoothly - it takes practice. Once you hear the engine basically over-revving you need to gear into 2nd, 3rd, 4th using q and e. The most recent hatchback I assembled I took to an airstrip, got it up to 4th gear and I'm guessing I was hitting around 70+ mph/~112 kph (wasn't looking at speedometer cause I don't like driving in first person). Point is once you get familiar with the transmission you can whip around pretty easily. A warning though, since repairing/putting together a vehicle is so time consuming, I tend to only go up to third gear when driving on roads. Otherwise inevitability I will lose control and end up in a tree or barbed wire or a sign, or whatever else. Since we are on the topic of vehicles...my only suggestion would be to consider lessening the damage on wheels when you hit something. I've been in and seen more than a few car accidents and not one of the times have the wheels on my car looked like they hit a police spike belt after the fact. At this point I just laugh and shake my head but seriously when do tires ever get shredded to pieces like that? If anything the tires are the one thing that usually remain intact upon driving your car into something.

Most excellent. It would be much appreciated.

What would you guys consider a good server to place a camp? I've set up a camp with about 15 barrels in it, but for the time being that server is not up. While I'm hoping it will be up again sooner than later, I'm wondering if there are any server's that are completely safe to build a camp on and they won't get wiped until say, a new version comes out. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks for the responses. I was thinking along the same lines as you Mookie - spread the stash among several servers. Also, I 100% agree with you komalt. I've set up a couple of places where I like to keep my barrels and none of them have ever been touched except by my own two hands. The only loss I've taken is the what I originally posted about, the camp that was my biggest camp to date, due to the recent disappearance of the server. I'm guessing becoming friendly with the server owner(s) is the only true way to know what is going on/what will be going on with that server. One more question how does one know what an 'official' server is or how do I differentiate between the type of server?
