    so i couldnt get on the dayz forums/website at all today. But yes, i did get this resolved by myself by running as administrator. I just dont understand why i needed to when im on the admin account for my computer, but whatever. its fixed now and im glad to be playing again thanks

    I have 307 hours on this game. I now cannot start up the game. I keep getting the message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." It is comming from this file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ\DayZ.exe Also the Battle Eye box pops up afterwards and says the game failed to load. any help would be appreciated.
