I reckon the less info the better. Should get rid of the kill confirms while they're at it. Less distracting info the better. -
personally i'm a fan of the good ol' alt-f4 combo. some twat starts trying to "light me up" for absolutely no reason (i don't even have an axe, etc), i'll alt-f4 just to piss them off. if i was armed, had some good gear, had knowingly put myself in a hot spot, i don't do it, i know the risks - they're what the game's all about. but to kill someone just for the sake of killing them... ALT F4! cry me a river.

mistrust has spread through dayz like cancer. sadly dayz is probably an admittedly extreme but vaguely accurate depiction of what would happen irl... good old humanity - we know what side our bread's buttered.

Welcome to the dayz forums... Besides there's absolutely no reason why it couldn't be done - the ouya supports onlive.

They just let the bodies drift out to sea... it's an eastern European thing.

Good information about ARMA II and Harddrives
twotoes replied to The_Man's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
what he said. i wouldn't use arma 2 as any kind of benchmark - the engine really is a bit farked. also, i run two 7200rpm (i think) HDD in raid 0 and never get any jutters, so i'm thinking past a certain point SSD and Ramdisks aren't gonna make a difference, but then i am using a raid array... something else, make sure you've installed native controller drivers. my mobo uses an intel controller and installing the RTS drivers and software makes a huge difference - for example: write back cache is disabled by default in MS's built-in generic drivers. -
not too sure why it has to be one or the other tbh.
