If you hold W or whatever button you use to walk forward before you begin the action, and don't let go, it should work. I've had this problem with crafting a stone knife, splints, and skinning animals, it seems to work for them all.

Charcoal Tabs, drink water till you vomit? I would think Antibiotics would have nothing to do with a food related illness... You really should have cooked it first I guess, or not eaten a person to begin with I suppose. If you go the cooking route just remember, you have like a 10 second window between hot/cooked to cooked/burned to pick it up. ;) -

Gave two guys in a field my truck, (they shot me as soon as I got out) and went back to craft and give a splint to someone that tried to knock me out while I was eating... And I have not KoS'd anyone yet in 240 hours... Well, I shot one guy shooting at and sneaking up on a group of 3 at south east airfield. They promptly killed me after saving them from the lurker. But it's all been self defense otherwise. ;)
