    Well I think its too muich of a grind.. vehicles should take between 1-3h to fix up, not an entire day. Am not really looking forward to all these additions and stuff like "filling up your mag bullet by bullet manually" that was talked about long ago and super realism things like that.. its too much imo. There is a fine line between realism and fun and balance. Dont wanna spend most of the time doing stupid things that require nothing but watching tedious animations and pressing F, its not a fun gameplay element at all.

    car got stuck after restart on invisible object, went out to get feathers for arrows, found SVD, went ahead, found Glock. gifted the Glock to Tartom, hes a nice guy. Didnt get to try it unfortunately as the mag glitched away.

    When I fixed up my car, tires were the biggest issues.. spent like 4 hours searching for 4 tires.

    Sorting out ammo?

    Loose rounds in a pocket.. the argument doesnt count. It doesnt make sense to be able to have 60 bullets inside a damn flanel shirt in the first place. They count as one item and thus they get ruined. A sledgehammer, grenade, 308 round, SP-9 round ETC ETC - all of these things can ruin your stack of ammo. Does that make sense? A zombie hitting you with its loose hands can ruin your stack of ammo - does that make sense? You can fall on your feet and the stack of ammo in your pants will be ruined - does that make sense? You can literally sit between 5 campfires and not warmup before 30 minutes pass - does that make sense? Do NOT give me any shitty "doesnt make sense" argument for Dayz, ever again. This change will force better inventory management and doesnt really hurt anyone except people who are bad at exactly that. Not a problem to cope with it.

    ur fps should be higher if anything. less zombies and less loot in cities specifically cars work flawlessly, highly recommend getting yourself a lada or sedan. tons of fun. just dont go too fast

    -____- because being able to find unharmed rounds when a small stack of them got hit by a grenade / barrage of bullets / shotgun / whateaver is realistic, right? just protect your bullets better. spread them in your inventory or protect them in a case or box or medkit (all of which still work when ruined, they just dont reduce the damage you yourself take when shot. but they will still keep all your stuff pristine).

    tried, got reset 2 times in a row, with new UI I keep getting "cannot connect to central hive" message, with old UI nothing. reset router and verified game files as well. no idea, must be corrupted data I guess... :facepalm:

    this shit just happened 1. have car 2. lose car due to hotfix 3. overheat constantly with a normal hunter outfit 4. die from drowning while proning next to a small pool (had to go to toilet) 5. find new car 6. spend 6 hours getting tires 7. car wont move, glued to building 8. try to move parts to other car nearby on different server 9. character gets reset 10. cannot connect to central hive game was really throwing bricks in my way that day but I got it all done eventually... made a thousand tick offs on the list of course :D (edited my post)

    Aaaah okay. Makes me feel better that it wasnt my stupidity that lost me the sedan (it wasnt really concealed all too well, had it parked only far west of zeleno 011 100). But still.. searching for and fixing up a sedan can take a whole day considering they spawn anywhere.. so I guess, it was nice while it lasted :(

  13. I think the time needed to either heat up or cool off could use a big decrease. What you guys think? I dont think sitting in a lake of ice cold water would take a long time to cool you off.

    I can see fine at night as well. Anyway, just got a car working and all I had to do was get a battery :D thats dayz for ya, just gotta take things as they come I guess. PS: that sedan is a beast

    Anyone else like the new (Idk how new it actually is) look of the damaged handguard and buttstock of the AKM? Looks pretty damn cool imo. Will post a pic later. Protip: vehicles reposition upon server restarts, facing north. Put your vehicle down facing north in the first place to avoid funny hiccups when coming back. That thing existed in 58 as well, spawned in quonset huts occasionally.

    Alright folks, the recoil of the AKM has been brought in line with the other AKs again. Welcome back AKM, we missed you. This was already on stable it seems, but I hadnt seen any posts about it. edited for clarity.

    jelly is the reason why no scopes will fit or you are jelly of me owning a FAL? :P cuz I dont atm, got the info from a youtube video. also @Biohaze, how is the firerate of that glock? Can you fire it faster than for example the CR75? I love the FNX for its firerate, maybe the glock will be its 9mil counterpart.

    Why wont any scopes attach to the Fal? It seems to me both RDS and Acog would exactly fit the rail by the looks of it but then again I am clueless about such stuff. Probably not the right size or it has yet to be programmed I guess.

    I understand peoples frustration about the sliding bullshit, but thats also not new :P in 58 it happened all the time. Upon a server restarting the vehicle drops from mid-air (~1m) and then immediately starts sliding if on uneven terrain. Also after restarts trucks used to always point towards north iirc, not sure how it is now.

    yeah physics seem to be calculated server side so with lots of peeps that takes a massive toll... yet I was able to roll a barrel months ago in stable already (and I would actually bet it has been possible ever since barrels were added), but that was low pop as well.
