Hello. Was hoping to get some stories and experiences from people regarding the Ghillie suit, be it their own or someone else's. I ask this because, I own one myself, and want to learn the proper way of utilising it. Also the Ghillie suit is intriguing by nature and I'm sure a few good stories of adventure out there in Cherno would be satisfying for anyone skimming the forums. Have they fixed the full Ghillie suit paint glitch yet? I'd love to be able to make the full suit and not worry about looking like a hay bale.

Is it spawning in 0.59 stable? I can't seem to find it. Love those lovely new greathelms, though. But a sword would be a fantastic match.

Damn, I lost quite a bit as well. But an SVD must sting. However, earlier I logged on and my character was restored to the way he used to be. I logged on a couple of hours later (5 mins ago) and he's gone again. I'm imagining we will get our characters back once the devs wake up in the other side of the world and notice they have some work to do.

Confirmed issue. Every private server character I have including my public character is wiped.

Didn't you see what the status report said? 0.56 will bring back the old loot system but improved. You'll have your experience again, but the old placeholder system is here for now as they prepare for 0.56's change.

Let's keep it simple. The Frames Per Second have appeared to improve since the hotifix. They may still be unstable at times, and the game is yet to be optimised, FPS is still low at times... But it certainly is better, have you guys noticed? I used to get 25-28 in Elektro. We're looking at 35-45 now. It really does make a difference. Does the same apply to you?

I feel your pain. Lost my first ever M4 find to the game crashing while I was in a moving truck.

Not sure where to put this, but here we go. I just lost an M4 with hundreds of bullets along with full gorka gear due to the new "0.54 crash." Was driving a V3 through elektro, I crash randomly, I return to find I'm a newspawn. Am I the only one suffering these new crashes? 0.52 was unplayable due to hacks, now 0.54 is unplayable due to constant crashing. My system is high-end, before people play that card. I'm not angry or trying to moan about this loss, but I'm trying to find out if I'm the only one crashing regularly, especially in cities. If not, then this has to be fixed soon. If I've just lost weeks worth of work and fun, I'll dread to think what would happen to people who have spent even longer collecting gear and staying alive for a while with very good pieces of kit. If anything, this is a spread of awareness about a new extreme problem.

The point is, death isn't a bad, but the way it happens seems to be. I wouldn't care if I died to a gunfight, or maybe even sniped. It's the fact my game crashed, my gear was unfairly taken. It's a shame, it was my first M4.

Do you think there will ever be music in DayZ for you to choose to have either on or off? Such as main menu music, or ambience when in the forests? Possibly have a music change when engaging in combat with other people? Not to the extent where people could have their positions revealed because of someone else nearby just heard their music stop / change, but maybe music could be incorporated in such a way where it simply provides an additional amount of atmospheric enjoyment to what the full game is sure to accomplish?

It's interesting to think this was 2 years ago. A lot has changed with the interface, it's my first time seeing anything different to what exists now. Looks like radio stations are the closest we'll get, and I think that's a perfect way for it to be in this type of game, in DayZ's specific atmosphere. Having a creepy song playing in a house, not truly knowing if someone is there or not could be a fantastic addition, as well as other types of music to suit different scenarios.

Opinions on the 0.54 experimental new main menu / UI? Unfortunately for me, it's very buggy, and I had to restart my computer as the entire UI was unresponsive and I couldn't end task. What about you guys?

I often wonder why people do it. It takes an element of the game away to be killed mercilessly, without justification. However, I cannot help but wonder what the killer sees. Why do it? What's the benefit? Clarification required.

At the moment, I am positioned far up north, so a trip to the prison building will have to wait for a while. But at the same time, I am also on the fence whether a visit is worth my time or not. What kind of loot can be expected to be found at the prison? I wouldn't want to spend hours making my way there only to find a few clothes and the occasional box of pistol ammo.

What a wonderful experience I've just had. Near Berezino area, on a private shard without hackers, I come across a group of 5 people all at once. We all have a chat and share food. Some random bandit then begins firing at us, to which 3 of the group charge towards him with axe's and maul him to death without taking any shots. We then proceed to travel across the entire map, making fires, sharing stories, and having fun until I had to log off. What a refreshing experience. I'll remember that for a while. A wonderful break from being killed for no reason by waste of space children. I'll upload a video or two about my experiences today in the gallery sometime soon. Great fun. It's that sort of thing that makes this game great.
