Screen tearing - texture bug - crappy engine, same thing - it's making certain areas of the game unplayable. :( -
I always log in and say to my mates: "Ready to ruin somebodies evening?" Yeah, killing people in this game is WAY more satisfying than in BF3/CoD/Halo or whatever, because you know that person will respawn with NOTHING. All their hard work, and you've just ganked them. FEED OFF DEM TEARS

I think we can all agree that hacking is becoming the sole bane of this mods existence. I've not gone a day without seeing a hacker, or being killed by one. For example, ran into a huge camp in the NE. There were 4 helicopters there, Urals, about 50 tents, all with hacked items. I stole a Ural and headed towards the NW. A surviver teleports himself infront of the Ural, I try to run him over, he survives so I jump out and start shooting him, omfg god mode. He then kills me and 4 of my mates who are playing legit. Fuck this game. I don't know why Rocket is sticking by these retarded server rules. I think that when he sees the amount of servers dropping from the list, he might then open his eyes a bit and realise there is something seriously wrong here. -
As the thread title suggests, this is a request to turn on the *player* was killed by *player* to make banning hackers so much easier than having to sift through hundreds of MBytes of game logs searching for shit I can't begin to understand. As a server admin, I can't do anything about hackers at the moment, and people are quitting left right and centre. The guy who pays for the server has stated that this is his last month of hosting it because we as admins can't do anything about the hacking problems. If we could see who just killed 20 people one after the other, then banning them would be so much quicker and easier to do, and people could get on with playing the game. Instead we're forced to shut the server down and change its name every half hour. It's fucking stupid. I've seen *player* was killed by *player* (Friendly fire) a few times, unsure if this is a bug or not, but that sort of thing would be ideal. I can't see how hard it would be to put into the game. This would do until BE sorts its shit out and the hacking situation is resolved.

Maybe there should be instructions on reading these logs that aren't in gibberish, so that normal people who have jobs etc, can actually use them. I'm one of the good guys here, I'm trying to stop hackers. No need to be a cunt about it. -

Isn't Kamenka the best place you can spawn? Just run north and you'll come across Zelenagorsgk and further on vybor then NWAF. Stop fucking complaining.

Map hack (to find tent and vehicles) and God mode on

Server: GB#00 Multiplay Bretts server When: 00:25 23/07/2012 What happened: Ok, so my 'clan' as it were, had a nice little camp hidden at skalka up in the north, we had 6 vehicles, and about 12 tents. It got raided, all the vehicles (bar one hylux with a missing wheel) gone along with all the rare weapons. We thought fair enough, lets pack the tents and move somewhere else. Well those tents were found the next day. Again, thought fair enough, someone else found it. So this evening we find a battered old hatch back, and we search for all of our old stuff, we find it and we move camp yet again. 2 hours later, a guy logs in with the damaged atv we left at the camp, drives up to our new camp (that had been there for half an hour) gets off the quad with all of us shooting him, and continues to kill 3 of us and logs off. I personally put 3 rounds into his body and 4 in his head. I had an L85, even had time to reduce the zeroing. No way in hell could any of that been legit. -
It's kind of dumb that you need a water bottle to drink from a lake. I can't imagine it'd be too difficult to add a drinking action on that. You can also fill your canteen up with sea water. Yummy sea water. I'm thinking it'd be a cool idea to implement some sort of fallout style 'clean' and 'dirty' water system. If you think about it, there wont be anybody manning the water treatment stations, raw sewage should be piling up, dead (possibly infected) bodies could be polluting water sources. I'm sure I've seen a zombie stood in a lake before. So you could drink that dirty water, which could have an adverse effect on your health. For example, get some sort of disease that needs antibiotics to treat. You could get some sort of dysentery, which makes you lose food and water in the long run, whilst in the short term filling your water bar up fully. Same could apply for salt water, but have a more drastic toll on your hydration level. New items could include: water desalination pumps (found in and around boats, docks, lighthouses etc) Pots and pans for boiling dirty/infected water, to be used with a fireplace. It'd be cool to be able to get food from different sources too. One cannot survive on beans and steak alone! Wild fruit and veg found in the wilderness might be a sound idea. But have SO MUCH VARIETY, that you don't always know what you're going to be eating. That film 'Into the Wild', where matey dies from eating the wrong type of berry. Something like that would be cool. You might pick up a book to go on your toolbelt that tells you the different plantlife in the wilderness that's edible and not edible. If you don't have the book that mushroom would come up as "Unknown mushroom", but if you had the book it'd say something like "Portobello Mushroom (safe)". It'd be a risk, but if you're out in the wilds with no knife, matches or hatchet, and you're too far from a town (where there might not be food anyway), it'd either save you for a short period of time, or kill you outright. For balance issues the book would have to be pretty rare. This could add a whole new level of immersion! Not only would you have zombies and banditos to worry about, but also the state of the food/drink you're consuming! What does everybody think of this idea?
