Hi there, I have two smaller suggestions I had on my mind for some time: 1) Improvised Bayonet and Improvised Rifle Flashlight The Improvised Bayonet would need some ducktape, a knife (Kitchen Knife or Combat Knife) and a suitable rifle (no pistol). Even though the usage of (the normal) bayonets is not in game yet this would IMO add a lot to the improvised/postapocalyptic look and feel of the game. These improvised bayonets need to be a bit weaker/more difficult to handle than normal melee weapons once bayonets work ingame to keep melee weapons still interesting as knifes are pretty easy to find. Using a bayonet instead of a melee weapon would just allow you to keep your weapons in hand while fighting off some approaching zombies. The Improvised Gun Flashlight would need some ducktape, a Torchlight and a suitable Rifle (no pistol) on which the torchlight should be taped at. This possibility would as well add to the improvised/postapocalyptic look and feel and also make playing at night way more interesting I guess as only having a torchlight out during night makes you so vulnerable to any threat. Having both of these as ordinary attachments ingame already would allow to make them rarer so we in general have a more improvised and less military look and feel ingame. 2) More authentic looking notes I suggest having a more yellowed/used piece of paper for notes and a more authentic handwritten font for writing on them. This is just a minor improvement with a very low urgency but one that would make DayZ more beautiful/postapocalyptic cause the current 'I type an E-mail on a bleach-white background' kind of breaks the immersion. Tell me what you think about these two suggestions and have a nice day!
