Because people are drawn to the 3pp servers thus leavning many 1pp servers low pop. How hard is this to understand? 3pp ruins 1pp. -

Some youtube guy said that zombies were temporary removed in 0.57 because of performance reasons. Can someone confirm this?

I actually think I'm on the "more sway" team. I don't know how many of you shoot in real life, or have tried it, but if you don't have firearms training (and also maintain it), even hitting a stationary object at range is not very easy.

Well, if there was ONLY 1pp there wouldn't be a discussion and people would have to "know" what they were getting into. The problem now is that the superior 1pp mode lacks active players because people want to goof around in 3pp.

No, but exploiting 3pp to gain unfair advantage by camping and looking behind walls or corners is. There is no argument against this.

This argument again? Seriously, mods need to start giving out warning for this. You don't suffer the same disadvantage when you camp behind a wall. -

Shouldn't matter. In a realistic game like DayZ the developers should force players to play in 1st person and not the cheating mode that is 3rd person. -
So me and a friend was playing on a server. We are both in skype voice talking to each other. Then suddenly in the game I hear a voice: "There is someone behind you, [ignoblebasterd]". Me and my friend was in TOTALLY DIFFERENT towns in the game, and we both heard the same voice at the same time. Are server admins able to use some kind of global voice chat to all players, or was this some kind of hacker, or what? Skype doesn't have chat rooms several people can join, so that's eliminated.

I would absolutely love and it would bring the game to a whole new level. The poll also crealy shows that 3pp should be removed. -

This would actually be an interesting experiment (outside DayZ). Imagine a coop game where you control your character through the eyes of your buddy. So you will have to communicate about how to move and where to look. :D

QFT. There is really no point of seeing your character in combat, other than for cheating. 3rd person needs to be removed OR severly altered.

This is the reason that crappy 3rd person needs to be removed. It ruins the game.

I just hope they doesn't make the PC version shitty because it has to run on console, too. I remember Mass Effect 2 being a stinking pile of shit because of this.

The ironic thing about tents is that when you set up a camp, you are bound to be robbed. It is simply not worth it to set up camp. The map is too small. I think we need at least a map of about at least 4x the current size. -

What should I turn up to give the CPU some relief? Right now I have everything set on as low as possible, save for resolution which is 1280x720. I avoid larger cities because FPS drop. -

Too bad the low amount of 1pp servers will always be a problem unless they remove 3pp. Remove 3pp!
