Is it only me or is the negative effects of rain too emphasised? Right now I feel like the single most important thing to get a hold of is a rain coat (early) and later a Gorka jacket. M95 jackets, for example, is nowhere near worth the two extra slots considering you get wet when it rains.

I don't share your views. I find loot pretty much everywhere. Yesterday I started a new char on a private hive. Hade jacket and pants full of Pipsi and Beans. No problems! In case of emergency, just pick apples/berries for five minutes and you're setlled. -
Wouldn't it be awesome if you could drain your killed enemies of blood, and collect it in a bottle. You could drink it. Or you could be naked and cover you body in blood! :D

It's just a pretext. People really want to be able to look behind corners without putting themselves in danger. Minimizing risk, that is. Low risk, high reward. Completely against everything that DayZ is supposed to be. -
Did you get it despite being healthy? I'm kind of ambiguous regarding drinking water not coming from a well/pump.

IMO the reporting is too much of a hassle. There should really be an in-game option to report servers. -

This is the only reason 3PP sucks. I wouldn't have a problem with it if it wasn't for 3PP draining the 1PP servers, just to be able to camp and peek behind corners... Oh, I'm sorry. I meant "be able to 'see their character'". -

Good idea. I always adapt a whole another way of playing as soon as I get a hold of the first piece of higher end gear. By the way, I want to point out that I have (in a moment of "what the hell, let's see what happens") approached a three man group, in a friendly manner, at NWAF once. All of us were military geared. It ended with us chatting for a while and then adding each other as friends on Steam. -

I think he's correct about the water, but not about the food. Jogging (as opposed to sprinting) for perhaps 5-7 kilometers gets you dehydrated. -

The only thing that has changed about Early Access is that it should be forbidden because of everyone who whines and refuses to understand that THE FUCKING GAME HASN'T BEEN RELEASED YET. -

Military areas and Berezino/Cherno/Elektro are a bit too hot for me though. I still feel as if I'm seeing less people all around the map than before.

If they want people to play at night, perhaps they should make it easier to stealth/avoid zombies at night, or even make them slower and/or less dangerous than during the day. To actually give players incentive. Perhaps the same with rain? The cold rain making zombies slower, or something.

But you can't really play when it rains. You can pretty much light a fire inside a house to dry yourself, and then stay there.

And here I am playing on full servers and rarely seeing other players at all. Managed to catch someone following me into a house a week ago, but that's pretty much it. I'm just running and running and running on random. I don't wanna go PvP at military zones. I want those random encounters, but they seem to happen so rarely. :( -
