I totally agree. You have my beans and this is the truth! People only rationalize the "wanting to see the character" reason when in reality they just want to be able to look behind walls. I will continue to hide behind walls, wait for someone to come running and then surprise pop out and kill them, until 3pp is removed.

It seems it is a bug, where your character behaves as if being cold but the status effect isn't there. Should be able to fix it by sitting by a camp fire.

So you can now pour gasoline/other liquids into for example a water bottle. If I pour gas into a water bottle, does it say that it actually contains gas? Or does it just say it is xx% full? If not, you could keep a bottle of gas in your inventory at all times. When you get killed and the killer loots your body, he will probably drink the "water" at some point, and perhaps he will be killed by it. :D

It's not. I only played 1pp from the beginning, for a long time. I discovered 3pp much later. That's when I realised that I could join 3pp servers, hide behind walls and then pop bambis for fun! I never though 1pp was clunky or weird.

To me the difference is: 1pp: I play more for real 3pp: I hide behind walls, wait for a bambi to come running and pop him. Because it is amusing and I just can't bring myself to play seriously when I can see behind walls, and I know people can do the same if I run around. It is a bit like hacking.

Seems drinking gasoline now gives you food poisoning. I think I accidentally drank my own 1 liter bottle of gasoline, and I got sick. Managed to wait it out by drinking shitloads of water though. Quite a cheap price to pay for drinking gasoline. In my defence, I was put back several minutes due to desync, which made me think that the bottle was filled with water, since it was very recent I poured gas in it.

Drenching handcuffed players in gasoline and igniting them!

So, now that there is gas in the game. Why not make it possible to handcuff people, drenching them in gasoline and then setting them on fire. Also possibly cook beans over their burning bodies. :D -
Anyone else annoyingly often experiences desync that isn't announced as desync in either Player list or "No message received"? Sometimes, actually annoyingly often, the inventory just says "Receiving..." forever if I right click on an item, and I am obviously desynced. Seems like this goes on forever until I relog. Very annoying, especially since the game thinks I'm server hopping and makes me wait forever to join again.

Oh, but I do. Why? Because I can. The solution is simple: remove 3PP.

I, for one, think that 3PP should just be removed. I can't really understand why it is there in the first place, when the game is supposed to be realistic. "Hey, I'll just hide behind a wall so I can see other players coming and surprise-pop out and kill them".

Actually you can do it quite quickly if you practice. At work I used to open cans with a knife for a long time because asshole boss would't buy a can opener for the employees. After a while I got quite good at it and it can't have taken more than perhaps 10 seconds longer than with a standard opener.

TBH, I think it would be nice to have to take craps and leaks. It would leave you vulnerable and add some tension.
