So the weapon loot puke on Prison Island seems kind of ridiculous, to be honest. I take it that they overflow the place with weapon loot just to get people to go there for testing, and that the loot will be reduced later?

A few nights ago I dreamt about playing DayZ. I remember being trapped inside a building with a group of hostiles outside. One of them went inside, and I popped him. Then I decided to storm out of the building, guns blazing. There were six of them and I managed to kill them all. Then there was a loot fest! I also remember being attacked by like 20 unarmed and naked players, but I remember thinking they were some kind of minions controlled by a hacker. -
Well, 30-35 bucks is my view on full price. At least what I'm used to. Don't know about other parts of the world.

Is it just me or is it immoral to sell a game for full price in alpha? I got it when it was still around $20, but more than that for an alpha? Come on.

How does the loot spawn actually work with persistence? I read somewhere that a new item spawns within 1 km after an item has been picked up. Is this the case? -
No. I've logged in dozens of times. This just "happened". What I mean is that I've PLAYED with the attachments during the past days without any problems, and then they suddenly disappeared.

Lol! Reminds me of when I was playing with a friend. He was being chased/in combat with someone, and I was at some distance away. They both run into a house, and I arrive not soon after. He says to me on Teamspeak, as I run into the house (two story house, he tried to hide on the top floor) "SHOOT THE FIRST ONE YOU SEE", only that the enemy had fled and left the house. I quickly search the bottom floor. When I don't find anyone I run upstairs. As the words "SHOOT THE FIRST ONE YOU SEE" still are stuck in my head, I proceed upstairs where find a guy and immediately jam a few bullets in his head. Yes, I accidentally killed my friend. -
When I logged into a server I had lost all attachments to all weapons I was carrying, as well as attachments that were lying in backpack. This happened yesterday, so it was NOT due to the attachment/att-file thing when 0.54 first was applied.

Tip: Quickly press TAB and then the assigned button for the weapon/item while in the inventory. Seems to work and you don't have to drag and drop.

I was in the lone house here: http://dayzdb.com/map#6.019.111 I'm guessing he was heli-hunting, and with a truck for convenience. It sounded like he turned left (I didn't dare to go outside, thinking it could be a hacker or something :D ). -

Can someone comfirm this? Seems like a lot to risk swimming out to prison. -
I'm guessing the only reason you can find shitloads of equipment at the prison at the moment, is because they want people to actually go there to test the area. Spawn rates will probably be reduced in the future.

I found a police car outside a police station on one server. On the next server, there was no police car ouside the same police station. Are police cars random spawns like choppers?
