We fight with a couple of Chairman's fellow Americans then the French hit town and then it's a one stop killing shop. We all die and we all kill again. We all have fun :)

We all have a way of living in DayZ. Some of us always KoS, some live off the land and avoid people, some are always friendly and some are sometimes friendly. Some of us change our style of play to suit the situation which presents itself. One trend I have noted is a re-emergence of combat logging. There are lots of players with yellow streaks. Sometimes they initiate a fight and when it doesn't go their way, they log. Personally, I would rather die fighting or withdraw when the odds far out way your chances of survival. I would never log.

Good shooting but I would have edited out, "patients nigger" at 4.22. It is offensive.

A film involving meeting some people. You can have fun even when you are trying to kill someone and so can they. I actually meet someone who is a real Bambi. I start off being friendly but then want to kill everyone with a gun and play with Chairman and George. At the end of the film we see someone who is an easy kill at NW airfield. George wants to speak and we need to exercise caution.

A Time for Talking & A Time for Killing (parts 1 & 2)
The_Real_MyDingaling posted a topic in Gallery
Parts 1 and 2 We all meet people in game unless trying to actively avoid it. How react to those people depends on various factors: How far we are away from them, their behaviour, what they say, who you are with and how threatened you feel, how protective you feel towards your gear and who you are with. Personally, I react differently almost every time I meet someone and there are always variables which come into play. These two films show some of those reactions from me, my friends and other players. We even start out shooting sometimes and act friendly later. Who knows until the situation presents itself. -
" Looks like i'm going back to the mod until .60 comes out! " M8, I think you are being a bit naive if you think there won't be bugs in .60 - it's still Alpha after all. You are setting yourself up to be disappointed. Concentrate on all the good things about the game, rather than the irritating bugs. There are way more positives. I've put up with them for more than 2,500 hours and I still keep going back for more :)

We travel out of Electro and into the valley. Chairman has already been hit in the head and knocked out in an ax frenzy. We want to find a saline bag and more loot. I don't have anything I can shoot so it won't be good if we run into an ambush.

Thanks Sofa. Yes that was Karma at it's best

I am looking for some bad boys who shot at me and MonkeyPeas when I run into Tom. Tom is a squeeker who I form an alliance with but I don' t know if I can trust him. I meet him again later and he joins a tribe. Yes that's right, a tribe. It doesn't end well for me or the tribe

Deciding who to shoot the breeze with can be tricky. For some it's not, they shoot everybody. For me, it can depend who I am with, where it is and how I feel. Just because it is at a military base doesn't determine the outcome though. This film covers some of these situations.

One of the sure fire things in Dayz, is that if you get a car working, enjoy a nice afternoon drive around Cherarus, someone will ruin your day and try to carjack you. If you are stupid enough to drive on the coast, it is pretty much a certainty. Guess what we did?

lol I was and a bit loud. It was also relief that he was finally dead as he had shot me in the car -
This is a collection of shorter clips from travels around the map. You never know when you will meet people but as things stand, they tend to be hostile encounters although I have had some friendly encounters since... but that was because we were friendly first.

Chairman and I meet the medic. We stumble into someone who said he and his group are hunting immigrants. Aren't we all immigrants or are we supposed ot be born there in which case there are no immigrants? In any case we felt he needed dealing with. There are some interactions in between then I meet a team of three of them.

I am manning the Cherno police station and speak to some players who appear friendly. A medic joins the conversation until someone starts to aim from the hospital stairwell. I eventually form an alliance with the medic. Technically, as a medic he is a non-combatant. At least he can distract people for me right?

You can try to be friendly all you want but you know at some point you will be tested. Once you have been killed once or twice the result is the same.... you want blood and you want it now.
-
Thank you. We generally play well together.

Hello survivors. I started in Balota the other day and was attacked by a player so I thought I would steal his gear. A few minutes later, another opportunity presented itself but I had no bullets. I wondered if I could rob players by implying I had rounds :)

Thank you guys

The nobility, skill and courage of french #dayz players summed up in 67 secs
The_Real_MyDingaling replied to freethink's topic in Gallery
I have a French friend but on the whole, we find French players generally act aggressively. It might be once they know we are an English speaking team. I know of another team who always execute French players, so who can blame the French for striking first. I got a lift off a French player recently and we tried to speak in his poor English and my poor French but it was enjoyable nevertheless. Of all the nationalities I come across, I find the English players the most dangerous but that might be because I see more of them. I am English too -
We start the day off with good intentions but in Dayz, violence is never far away. Whilst great efforts are made by us to be friendly, Geordie's murder changes all that and before long, we see a day of violence. A misunderstanding between friends makes for a surprising and for me shocking end to this story.

Chairman and I hear some gunfire and then see well armed players. Other less armed players have a go and then so do we. It's a free for all and it's dark.
