It's not what I expect or want to hear in videos. Others of course may find it amusing. Anyway, your cry baby friend sounds about 12, which is too young to play Dayz. I hope his Momma put his dummy in for him as soon as he logged off. Other than that, I enjoyed what I saw of your film and your attempts at revenge. The lighting looked cool and we've all been there trying to get people we haven't much chance of getting. Unlucky. At least you tried. However, your friend spawning in that building is about as noobish as you can get. It is asking to get killed.

Robbing people inland is the same as robbing people on the coast :) Personally, I enjoy moving around the map but I have noticed that we get attacked everywhere now. In the old days, most encounters up north were friendly. Many of my earlier videos were mostly that. I've met people in north-west (3 in one day) and others without a shot being fired. I used to give away loaded weapons often, even M4s. When I am alone or with two similar friends, we rarely shoot first and never rob people. Last week, we met someone at the 'secret' military base. He was obviously new and so we took him on a tour of the map, changing trucks a few times. He had lots of firsts that night including traveling in and driving a truck. When I am with a big group, it means you always get shot at by others but nevertheless I enjoy those fights too. If you run around with a weapon out anywhere, I think you invite attack. I would not have let you rob me and one of us would have died. My preference though is to break legs. My main point is that there isn't a rule book. We play how we want, when we want. People shouldn't get butt hurt if we disagree, stay by the coast, camp, fight or hunt animals up north. It's up to you. One of my favourite nights was when I had a BBQ in Svet and several strangers stopped by to eat. We also ran several small holdings from the Elektro police station back yard. We had ten people on one occasion. Eventually, you always got shot at but it's great fun. That's what I love about DayZ, the variety. You can have as much fun anywhere on the map.

The Knights of Mercy log into Berezino for a night patrol. We meet someone who is in a group of five but let him pass. However, in a short time we are attacked by a group of players armed with bows and arrows! Seriously, they have a good go at doing us over. Respect to Robin Hood and his merry men :D

Four of us having been having a good time up north without any bother. However, Rocks comes on and asks us to join him for a patrol in Berezino. All seems fine until Chairman is shot at. Chaos follows as our disorganized motley crew try and get on top of the situation.

I get involved in a fight over loot at a guardhouse step. The boy killer hears of my difficulties and comes to offer his help. It is a double-edged sword. We all behave differently when the killer is around.... all of us. He has that effect on you. You know you are influenced and a friendly player turns into someone unrecognizable.

A trip up north with Geordie turns into a nightmare as our truck is ambushed and the assassins follow us back to an industrial area after a server restart. They know where we are and we know they are coming. We don't know how many, how well armed or how competent they are as hunters of people. A cruel twist of fate and the odds are against us surviving. It's survival of the fittest.

Indeed I do and a couple of spare MP5s, Winchesters and SKS rifles :)

Me and Geordie are planning to meet Chairman. Just before he arrives, we notice another truck in the town and a player makes contact. He asks if we are friendly but his questioning suggests he is not. He becomes increasingly more aggressive before telling Geordie, "You are dead". We realise it is a life or death situation and that some of us are going to be back on the beach where we began. The question is who and how many are going to die? It becomes obvious we are hunting a killer.

I named it after my.... you know. It was from the song with the same title :)

My friends and I are travelling in a truck towards Elektro. The first player we meet wants to die, so we oblige him. However the next player we stop and give a lift to. He asks for our help. He and his two friends have been killed by three other players. Should we help him? Is it a trap? Should we risk everything? Well, as the old saying goes, YOLO!

Two friends, Rocks and Domina said they had never seen a truck, so I looked out for one for them. Unfortunately I was quite far away from them but they now spawn with a full tank of fuel. As I was looting up after starting as a fresh spawn, I heard that distinctive V3S sound as the engine started up. I knew where the spawn was, so I ran in that direction. The problem was, someone else had claimed my prize. What would you do for a V3S for your friends? Grand theft truck meant going against my normal play style. I had a difficult and ethical decision to make. Here is my story.

We all have examples of where we have helped people on DayZ, only to find they eventually double-cross you. I know that has made some of us turn bad but not me. I enjoy the interactions with other players. Because there will always be those who don't play like I do, I will always have both new friends and targets to keep me busy. This is one such example where I go out of my way to help someone and I am paid back with lying and a double-cross. I don't know about you but I do not forgive that easily. If a situation presents itself, I am all for some retribution. As a former professional soldier, I still feel that racing heartbeat when danger is close and DayZ re-creates that very well. This is my most recent experience. Some of us are good, some of them are bad :rolleyes:

Yes they are. I've tried a mic boom but the mic is very heavy (Blue Yeti). I've also tried a mat under keyboard but the mechanical keys (blacks are very loud). I'm not sure what else to do.

I meet up with a few survivors who are friendly. I don't know what it is about Elektro but it can't stay that way. Later I team up with another group member who I hadn't met before. She has a thing for stealing trousers from guys :P and of course someone always wants to kill you in a no KoS server...

I met a guy I played with a few times. He called me asking if I would come to his server after he and a friend were murdered. This is a story of a hunt for a killer in Berezino but first, we meet a French player who joins us and then a very irritating player who sates that only killers wear shoes! Do we prove a point? Finally, I meet someone who decides to point his weapon instead of speaking. What would you do?
