So why do people refuse being held up?

I'm done trying to explain it to you. You seem incapable of understanding anything that you don't agree with.

So why do people refuse being held up?

    Haha oh dear. http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/164425-being-a-bandit-that-doesnt-kos-feels-good/#entry1661245

So why do people refuse being held up?

I weirdly feel attracted to you somewhat.

So why do people refuse being held up?

Oh wow, stop trying to act as if you're a hero.

What's worse? Being KoS'd or held up

You'd think that's obvious but judging from my other topic you'd be surprised. A lot are against being held up and don't follow the "rules" and instead try to kill them.

So why do people refuse being held up?

Alright, I get that. Thank you for not being an obnoxious prick.
  7. Mays (DayZ)

So why do people refuse being held up?

I don't even understand some people on this forum. I haven't said that.

    Unusual hot spots?

I know for a fact the house across from the firestation near the church in Elektro almost always has someone up there, as well as the barn right behind the firestation and behind the hay stacks. Any other hotspots for violent.. men?
  9. Mays (DayZ)

    Unusual hot spots?

    No.
  10. Mays (DayZ)

So why do people refuse being held up?

If you're a friendly bandit you're not really a bandit. I'm being as nice as I can be while also being a bandit.

So why do people refuse being held up?

I think this thread proves there needs to be a proper penalty for death.
  12. Mays (DayZ)

So why do people refuse being held up?

I'll notice them, approach with my gun down, and ask them. That's it. No shouting or anything like that.
  13. Mays (DayZ)

So why do people refuse being held up?

Already said that. I don't hold them up, I just ask them to put their hands up as most of the time they CAN have a gun. If they comply (even if they don't) they live.

So why do people refuse being held up?

Well the people in this thread seem to hate being held up, so I guess they prefer being KoS'd? Oh wait no, they don't, they whine about that too. Might as well just KoS if people seem this way about it.

So why do people refuse being held up?

I don't handcuff the bare newspawns, I just want to know they can comply to me so I know they're decent enough to live. However if they have better clothes and a melee weapon, I'd expect them to not want to lose their gear. I had a pistol a few days ago and asked the guy with a pistol (with ammo!) to put his hands up and he did. I looted him, told him how to get out and left. I don't /want/ to kill people, I'm trying not to be a 100% dick

So why do people refuse being held up?

And this is what the DayZ community has come to.

    KOS - A Philosophical Discussion

Yet as shown off in my thread, people also complain about bandits that hold you up instead of KoSing. They're just whining, it's human nature, get over it.
  18. Mays (DayZ)

So why do people refuse being held up?

So people complain about KoS yet also complain about bandits that don't KoS? Alright then.
  19. Mays (DayZ)

So why do people refuse being held up?

Locate them > hold up > handcuff > loot > tell how to break out/give keys > go away
  20. Mays (DayZ)

So why do people refuse being held up?

Because some people actually run from places such as Berezino to Elektro only to get killed, whereas I'm giving them the option to live. I don't see why you'd turn it down.
  21. Mays (DayZ)

So why do people refuse being held up?

I don't think so, they're aware I'm not shooting them but they just run or try to kill me.
  22. Mays (DayZ)

Curious about peoples 'Rules of Engagement'

If you have full military gear and you're creeping around the edge of town, kill on sight. If you're unarmed or melee I'll hold you up and kill you if you defy it.
  23. Being a bandit that handcuffs people while looting Berezino, Cherno, Balota and Elektro.
