Hey Guys, Has anyone else been having issues with Vilayer Servers not spawning loot?

So I logged onto my server to put my tent down and found that all of the stuff that I had left behind were not cleared out as usual. Is anyone else finding that things were not cleared? A clanmate forgot to pickup his tent last night and It was still there this morning when he logged on. Would be awesome if tents were not being wiped.

Its a crap shoot on that. I generally wait a couple minutes after a server reset to join just in case.

My first combat experience in DayZ came from the mod. Was a fresh spawn in Cherno. Needless to say there was a heli flying above doing circles around the town. Didn't take them long to see me and gun me down while attempting to get into a building. My first combat experience in DayZ SA came at Vybor after I had accidentally gotten a spawn at the town. Was naked and was being chased by two guys with Fire-Axes..... It was the most terrifying thing I have had happen to me... Needless to say got me and killed me.

I like the Idea of everything, but the Sanity does not fly well with me. If I want to kill people I'm going to kill people. There is no need to punish those that choose that route.

I am looking forward to the Horde AI. Going to make going into a city a really interesting thing. Also means that interaction with a player you find in a city a little more racking.... do you kill him and risk drawing in the horde or do you group up and loot the city together and stand a better chance at surviving the horde. Choices are to be made and some of them will be interesting.

I would love the whole country of Chernarus open for exploration with much larger server capacities. (http://dayz.gamepedia.com/File:ArmA2_Chernarus_factbook_map.jpg) There is so much potential for new landscapes and much more. Plus I can find the current Chernarus SA map just fine, but after awhile you start to learn where everything is. Map extensions and updates are deff a nice feature.

Glad to see another like minded person. I do the same when I find stuff that I cannot carry that I do not want other people having. Strip it and dump it in the woods or the ocean. Beans for you Sir!

I love watching all of the server hoppers load in at Vybor Mil Base. The BMP on the west, the hill to south, the Jail, the BMP on the inside. It is fun to hunt down the server hoppers and kill them. Even better when they attempt to combat log.

I prefer to stay away from that place.... gives me the creeps.... too many weird things happen to me there. An OP. Try getting into a clan. I was much like you, solo player doing my own thing. Once I got into a clan I have been able to have more fun and actually able to find fun and active PvP encounters. There are many things to do in DayZ. Trading, Farming, Hunting (Animals & Players), Protect the New Players, Cannibal and many others. Just gotta find one that you will enjoy.

Gorka is also great way to keep warm. It comes in many colors and is waterproof, unless you plan taking a dunk in a lake or river.

Was a couple of months ago. Was at the NWAF and ran across a guy in the tents. We both talked for abit and traded some stuff. Then was running south and saw a guy running from zombies, so I killed the zombies. He fell unconscious and so i proceeded to bandage him, give him saline. He turned out to be a nice guy and gave me the spare AKM he had.

The M65 Jacket is spawning on American Heli Sites. Have seen several so far.

One of our snipers got an -xm- shot according to the range finder from the west side of the hill overlooking the prison. So that was 1000m+ shot that dropped the dude. Confirmed by our ground in the prison and by his spotter. Dude was standing on the top railing afk or something.

Doubt that would work on a Blaze since it is a breach action rifle with two barrels.

I will have to agree with blunce on this one. Too many times I go to restrain someone that I have knocked out and they just respawn. Sometimes I will kill them, but I mostly prefer to break their legs and move their gear down the road or air field and leave a morphine injector in the loot. Know I understand this is cruel, but if they can make the crawl, how ever long it takes them they can get their gear back, minus what I wanted from them. Plus It's entertaining to be on a hill watching this and killing zombies that come. I just miss the interaction sometimes when people just respawn right away. Just because I shot you, does not mean I'm going to kill you. Shall you choose not to respawn, you have a chance at getting your stuff back.

I prefer to run science experiments on people that I catch. Or do the break your legs, restrain you, burlap sack and leave a morphine down the road or on the other side of an AF with all of your gear. Just got to catch me in the right mood. GL and HF out there.

I have taken an M4 round to head while having a Motorcycle helmet on and all it did was ruin the helmet and leave me unconscious for about 30 sec.
