Please take some more time for this patch release! The new 1.62 ARMA update caused my 1911 to make zero damage on Zs. There might be more bugs, so please take some more days before you release it! Of course I will test this update as usual if you release it anyway ;D

Thank you for noticing! A friend of mine got really mad, because he felt like the only one. It happend every time. Regardless of his condition (it happened on a fully healthy character).

Yesterday I found two fisherboats and a PBX (regular motorboat) Fisherboats go about 15MPH and the PBX can go 70MPH. Man I was able to pick up a friend so fast from Elektro to Berezino with it. It's amazing and totally worth it. I hope I can keep it for a while =D

Yes please! Fix the unlimited ammo bug. I do want to actually loose ammo. I can perfectly play a day with 3 dmr mags and don't loose any of them, because I never empty them. It makes my life way to easy in the game. It really disstorts my gaming experience. I can't even remember how the game was without the bug. -
I only saw two obvious hackers since playing for two months now: Two guys with alternate camo clothing (helmets, camo, protection sunglasses) Unlimited clip sizes Glolden AK or something Heavy machine gun It wasn't that bad though. I had no weapon so they let me live. I never encountered a horrible hacking assault. Maybe once I got teleported 5m into the air for dieing, I'm not sure about that. Please don't fool yourselfs. There will be always hacks in any game. Nothing is save. You might fix some holes and prevent script kiddies. Than some actual hacker will come and fix another one. Then he might release his hack again for the kiddies. Probably everything is hack and exploitable.

I do get arifacts, but only from random things. I can't say that I get them from wire and traps in particular. -
M1014! Other question: Pellets or slugs? I never used pellets in PVP, but since I only self defend I started to use pellets. I think they are great against Zombies and give me that shotgun feeling. With slugs it's just another Winchester/Enfield

Something like that happend to me, because Battleeye had an issue with updating. I even died and stood next to my corps and wasn't able to interact with my body. So... I kept on disconnecting until I sorted out the battle eye manual update. Than I spawned with all my gear at the cost. Could be worse though. Try to update Battleeye. @Austendude: I think they are fine, as long as they don't come back at server restart. Toolboxes aren't that hard to find in this update. -

and not to forget: You can still mute people with annoying mics. It's not that you hear them all the time, because it's direct chat. Want to get rid of his annoying background noises? Tell him, mute him, go out of direct communication range or... well kill him. Forcing direct com channel, could probably really help. Just display a message to the user with each log in that the game uses their mic, no matter if they skype or not. -

I was at my first helicopter crash all alone. So I killed all the Zeds around it, which was a though fight, but it got even harder when all of them respawned while I looted the heli. They spawned like 3 mins after their death. The problem was that I was right in the middle of them. They spawned 2m away from me! Please fix this. I'm glad that I was able to survive that O_O -

I play on a server that restarts on a regular basis (I think every 6 hours). Tents respawn on their original position. So if you remove a tent and place it on a new position, you're duplicating it. Wires, steel hedgehogs and sandbags respawn on their original position. There was something similar with a vehicle, but somehow it's gone for me now. Items in tents are like roulette. Sometimes they disappear, change etc. I think if you place your items some hours before server restart, than you're fine. It's still pretty random for me. -

I seriously only play on your servers. Your servers were the first that started for me and never failed to me! Even in my host filter stands "olut", so I have only your servers in my server browser xD -
I thought the same. You can tell which Call Of Duty game was made with which engine due to their feel to them. The Modern Warfare games look all the same and different from World At War and Black Ops, because those two groups use two different engines. I can imagine that Battlefield's Frostbyte Engine would fit DayZ (minus BF3 lense flare frenzy). It always felt more rough and dirty to me than the Cry Engine. The destructable environment also makes a more immersive gaming experience. It's not about big buildings blowing up, but more about the little things here. It does? Well now I don't see any reason for a new engine. However I see another reason to buy Arma 3....

Already exists on some servers. I play on DE 105 EU 11. There are no killmessages at all. Even if someone respawns. I think it's an "expert" class server. -

no no no! This must be a joke! Zeds are a joke at the moment! I don't fear them. They are more annoying than ever. This random AI is so annoying. A friend and I don't even bother to crouchrun or prone. We just run all the time. And if a Zombie sees us, it's most of the time because of the ridicolous line of sight. We don't care about them anymore. They are hardly any fear. I want predictable Zed behavior! If it's hard: fine, but don't let me walk 3m in their back without consequences. I just don't bother to be carefull for a bugged system that probably wouldn't punish my recless behaviour anyway. This game is about Zeds and survival? Let me fear Zeds again! Give me a reason to stick in groups because I fear them. Like playing at nighttime without NVGs!!! That's fear and a fight! Right now I only fear that I alert other players by Zeds that chase me and because I have to shoot them without unsilenced weapons. That's all there is. Oh and let us value life again! Force respawn times of 1+ hours. No more respawn until we are back at our corpes place! My only fear of dieing is loosing my loot and the time I have to bring up to travel wide distances. That's all there is. @pvp discussion: It would be interessting to see what happens with far less ammo spawns and with the introduction of non leathel weapons. I would love to taser a guy for his backpack! -

Okay this happend three times in a row today: I stood near loot and suddenly my leg breaks and I die with -13000 (or something) blood. I guess loot spawned on my and crushed me. It happend in one of those orange houses with two rooms (twice at the same place) and at a hanger at NW airfield. -

First time playing with tents... Well they feel like lottery. I cam back after probably 2 server restarts and my tent with the medical supplies suddenly had one heatpack and two cherry cans in it. Wtf? I doubt that anyone looted the tents, because the other tents felt untouched and had far higher value loot in them like weapons etc. ----- Also one bandit tried to makaroni me from behind. I kill him with my AK. He was kinda hard to see and I thought that he went behind the corner into cover. I come closer and hear the flies. No body. My bandit-killcount went up by one. Wtf? It felt like he disconnected in panic. Very weird. ---- One Zed was crawling right in front of me. He didn't give a shit about me. I thought that the Zeds that stand arround don't attack you in this patch, but there could be many more. -

I got one weird desync today: So I had my first tents and set them up. I wanted to gather more loot without high risk, so I kept my G17 and put in M14 AIM with some mags and other supplies into the tent. Later someone killed me. I walked back to the tent and everything was in place. I moved on and got a Winchester with a solid amount of rounds. I died again. Next life I gathered some medical supplies and put them into my second tent. Two minutes later I log out for having dinner. I log back in and have all the medical supplies back on my char. So I went back to the tent to get rid of them. The tents were now full with stuff from my previous lifes. The M14 was gone. There was a Winchester now with some mags, a Makarov etc. It really looked like a loadout from one of my dead characters. I doubt that anyone looted my tents. They are very well hidden and the were only up for a low amount of hours now. -

I think the game works really good right now. I don't mind the occasional Zed that spots you from 200m with no real reason. It makes everything more interessting and unpredictable. I only had one chance to play in the rain. I know that there are visibility changes, but somehow it felt odd to me. Yeah and I guess a lot of people already reported Zeds that only stand around and don't aggro at all. -

Oh god please! Make them super rare! Anyone had a Mountain Dew in the game? I had one once. It also seams to be super rare to me.
