OP, i think it's a good sign if you feel guilt. people who kill others who help them and think it's funny are scum, but someone who regrets stuff like this is most likely a good person, the type i'd stick with. that is the kind of thing a good person does. maybe this community has some hope, after all. but don't worry about this too much. this stuff happens, people panic and often do things they regret later.

and what if you die and become newly spawned? would you put yourself in that strip of land?people like you ruin the game for everyone. play TF2, COD, etc if you want to mercilessly slaughter other people. DayZ is about survivng in a post-apocalyptic world, not killing off humanity deathmatch

OP, if you buy another CD key, aviod anything that cannot be done legit, because even the admin of a server cannot use hacks etc. since inventory is persistent across servers, spawning something on your server means you can use it on any server. and everyone else, stop insulting him. being 13 does not equal retarded or stupid. i'm 15, and everyone tells me i'm pretty damn smart

main post: Shut up and take my beans x2 OP, i am in total agreement with you on the hacking. i want to get DayZ, but i'm not sure with all this hacking going on. it's kinda maing the game seem less attractive to me.i'm one of the few smart ones that research before playing, so i know how to avoid Zeds, find weapons etc. (if any of you don't understand why, it's called common sense) i don't like player killing, i would never consider thunderdoming a server or anything like that. someone needs to stop thunderdome hacks etc. i mean, couldn't Rocket add a check that registers if a player moves a large distance a short time (teleporting or speedhacking) and then kick them back to where they were?

what proof is there that he used a maphack?

true, bandits get look from PKing exxessively, so survivors get dogs to help them find it
