i like the idea of player-built safe zones. perhaps the trade window should be similar to (hater, hear me out) Runescape. you both put in the items and can see what the other is offering, then you both click accept. if you click accept and either offer changes, you have to reclick Accept (to prevent scams). it then comes up with a confirmation and lists the offers, review the lists and click accept if it's correct. -

actually, if the game gets an emotional response like this from someone, to me that's good. it makes you feel like you are in this harsh world.OP, i think that you should not worry about this too much. after all, it was a mercy kill (he was dying, and asked you to finish him when it became apparent thaqt he could slowly bleed out). but if you regret it, that indicates, to me, that you are a good person. i haven't started DayZ yet, but i'm expecting a reaction like this when i make my first kill. if i saw someone bleeding, with low blood and no way to get help, i'd heal him if i could.
