@emuthreat: I guess we figured out something because: Yes, the lada offroader faced the back downwards when i found it staying at the hill side and faced the front downwards when i left it at its new place where i found it later on its unchanged place again. My original lada offroader survived the day also with the front downwards. Next day (after server restart i guess) i found it (as reported) 90° turned (now right side downwards) and let it there in this position because i don't knew any better and yeah as i told: Next day it has been slided down. It has to work in that case i assume. So park them with front or back downwards and check and correct their position if needed to that after server restarts and your vehicles will stay where they have to. No guarantees given. ;)

My report as promised: 1 lada offroader (the new one from the hill side) stayed on its new position at another hill side exactly where i left it about 22h before. 1 lada offroader (my original one) slided from its parking place (on relativly flat top of the hill i mentioned before) where it has been for 26h before down the whole hill side till it hit some trees at the bottom. So everything can happen to them i guess. :D Driving the lada offroad is very good if u stay at low-mid speeds. high speeds are very dangerous because of the hilarious controls. First the steering is way to direct. If you hold A or D for 1 second it do not increases the steering in a straight way. It jumps up to Max immediately. Second (and this makes it in combination with first even worse) the acceleration not only stops if you loose W but it behaves like you jump on the brake. I guess that should simulate the engine brake but its waaaay to hard. Especially with this quick action. So you don't have the time to hit W again for not falling into the engine brake section. It comes immediately. You can not drive balanced. Only full throttle, brake or full brake. In combination with the harsh steering you do 360°-turns on a straight road without intention oooon the way like Ken Block. With no room at the sides you will total your car very fast. As i did. My original lada is now crap. With every hit on a fence or other blockers it becomes less driveable till it is a pain in the ass to drive and you will prefer to run (also the topspeed goes extremely down) and a flip over is now not only a question of time but a super bet if you ever again get it over running speed of a survivor. Additionally today we lost a CR527 with hunting scope and mag for the f******* drop issue. As i told it before. :rolleyes:

Altough it is not from yesterday to today: I found my car yesterday 20:00 after leaving it alone on the day before at 18:00 (therefore 26h later) at the exact same position (90° turned as mentioned). Of course it was a relativ flat area. But up at a hill. And i found a second car staying at a hillside between bushes (not stuck) as the former owner has likely placed it. So they stay where they are placed. Maybe not every time. Maybe it is related to flat ground (but at the top of a hill it is never really completely flat and the second one stayed in the bushes at the hillside for an hour (i had to find a battery the owner wisely removed) as well) or a gear layed in when the engine turned off. while the engine is on it matters for sure. With N you slide/roll down. Or something else I don't know. Today I will check it again and will report it here for 2 cars then.

I am happy with the update. No, i am VERY happy with it. I hated the Exp. 0.59 that hard i stopped using it around Update 4. It was so frustrating with all the handling bugs, lags, desync and so on. Now the stable is so much better and after all absolutely enjoyable. ##### Cars tend to slide a bit, yes. But its only the case if you leave them as it looks to me. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I had it also staying at its point only turned 90° (after server restarts?) over night. While interacting with them they made no problems. Of course they hop a little bit if you put a tire on them. But, hey, how is it if you put them down from a jack in real? We now own 2 Offroad hatchbacks ready to drive. :) Its very much fun and altough it is a bit laggy with 2 passengers in the cabin there are no fundamental problems to use them. Body parts seem to be very rare, but hey. ##### What i would like to see fixed next is the "stupid" weapon (or item) behavior when changing between shoulder-weapons and backpack/clothing-weapons. Example1: I have a RAK (taken from the backpack) in my hands and want to take the SKS from my back: He drops the RAK on the ground instead of packing it back in the backpack (Even if there is no place for it because i have picked up a item to the original place of the RAK he should simply don't take the other gun from the back and give me a status sentence like "I don't find a place in my inventar for the thing in my hands." instead of droping the gun so i will not find them ever again in the gras. Example2: I have a RAK (taken from the backpack) in my hands and want to take the SKS from my back: He puts the RAK on the shoulder instead of packing it back in the backpack. Here i could live with it if there is no place in the backpack any more but not if that isn't the case. And he did it in that way (changing the weapons places instead of pack the RAK to the backpack). There should be a logic behind the handling. Of course the last/no option for me is droping a weapon (or any thing) on the ground. And only one level over it is packing it anywhere it wasn't placed before. So priorities should be: 1. Put it where it was. 2. Put it anywhere if there is no place for it at its origin. 3. Say "I don't find a place in my inventar for the thing in my hands.". ##### My friend has now (new to him) FPS-drops to 3 FPS from time to time which I had in former versions and I don't have now. Maybe nvidia users are now the victims after AMD users (like me) were it in the past. :D ##### Thats it, i think. The rest is absolutely ok. Of course alpha, not optimized, many things not included and so on. But its playable without many rage attacks, you can see improvements everywhere and it is fun to play. 0.59 rocks! :thumbsup:

We are waiting for another Exp.-Update that is fixing this weapon/item-drop bug that makes this build only partly playable. It's the last blocker i think. After that a build should be ok for stable. Hope for today (Exp.) and wednesday (Stable) but plan for any time this week and the next one if we are unlucky.

Update 12 broke more than it fixed. Sadly. *My buddy lost his mosin out of his hands at a fence and it disapeard. *We both packed our weapons away simultanously. Now we know it was because players showed up. What a bug. The item handling from the ground is still not perfect. Honestly it would be no thing for me to life with it if we get a stable. But the new loosing weapons bug and those player alert bug are stoppers now. Update 11 was better than 12 and if you really want it was "ok" for stable. We could play for hours and days. This update 12 is not enjoyable. Waiting for the next one. Exp-Servers are also not enough. Beside all this: No Zs are a killer for the game as intended. dayz is now PvP only because no one has to do/fear anything beside managing his char. so we all get aggressive and "fear" and fight the other players. fun is not absent but limited. simply because you can't talk to anybody anymore. Everybody is only interessted to fight any more. Me too i have to admit and regret.

Can report two things: #The hotbar is functioning a lot better now (update 4). When it had a poorly reaction in update 3 about 2/3 of the time it is now working properly nearly to 100% if not 100%. Nice one! It was so annoying and now it's such a pleasure to switch items. Top! #Growing Zucchinis will not save your life. I growed 10 and got 7 good plants (14 Zucchinis). So far, so good. I fed my character to stuffed 3 times and all i got is a character slowering his starvation. Point is definitly: The stomach is full but the content has very little calories. And the transformation into body energy is too slow. Maybe it's intended but honestly this way farming will become even more unattractive as it was before in consideration of effectiveness. I have to mention that i don't grow much. last one was in .57 and there i growed pumpkins which are awesome if you slice them.

The update 4 is ok. But i don't know if its good enough for stable. What i don't like is the still not proper functioning of the reload process. Not because i am a PVP-styler. Just because i could become insane when i mispress "R" (when leaning with "E") and not only my dude throws the mag on the ground instead of doing it in the pants but it disapears from there and last but not least i have a single round chambered instead of taking that small extra mag from my pants. <_< What i don't have but a friend of mine: Many Player-desyncs. I only have some item-desyncs most of the time. Thats not nice but yeah... Be patient and it will work sometime. Ghost sounds are not solved for me. My buddy has only very few of them - i have every couple of minutes a laddersound or what ever this resounding metal sound is. Fun to test and play but also very annoying sometimes. :)

Wuhuuu the new industrial building is enterable! At least i think this one wasn't enterable and it looked like the one from the W.I.P.-showcase. Hadn't too much time because of some aggressive dudes in berenzino. :|

Sorry if it has been posted but i don't read the whole thread: Bug1: Very often i have problems with handling my rifle from the back to my hands and vis versa. Sometimes i only have a ghost in my hands, sometimes only others see a ghost in my hands, sometimes nothing happens when i'd like to take the weapon into my hands (This is maybe desync what brings us to:) Bug2: I guess it is big desync. Sometimes i can not pick up stuff, drop stuff or interact in my gear while others can. A minute later it is possible, Bug3: Items droped on the ground are landing sometimes away from my position. Range from half a meter up to i guess 10 meters (around the house i was standing in front of).

Do rabbits get into rabbit snares right now? Is it important where to place them? I placed one on gras land near a wood and a field road. Waited about 15 minutes, no rabbit. To short?

What is your loot experience with this patch? Mine is exactly as it was with 0.55 at the rollout: In the beginning all was fine and now (after the first hords over the fresh servers) there is no loot any more except at clothing lootplosions like prison island. No food anywhere. FEW items. Also: There are servers with absolutly NO item on them (prison island with no jacket and no pants says it all (those clothing amounts can not be taken away)). In the inland it is only a time delay of the problem. Loot is simply not spawning in high enough numbers to balance the game between crafting/hunting and looting. So far the experiences from my buddy and me.

Holy moly! That sounds logic. Hm, i thought about it a while and yeah, as i said, i am ok with that. Its logic also. My character had to receive much in his life and from that it is not a surprise that a hit at the false (or right) point will do more damage than expected and kill him instantly. If you have a prior injured/weakened part of your body it CAN take less than normal to destroy this organ/bone etc. and shock the body to death. So hm, hard but good because its plausible. Additionaly it balances the game in fact as the video creator said. But in a game it is good to know such things. Although i like it the devs try to not use some % indicators and show you all the data. But you can't guess in all terms how realistic the game is. Maybe you should get the information that you have to keep in mind, that your character will degrade as a real body would. Maybe this can also count for good things as fitness for example. Good to know anyways! Thanks!

As i play stable again i had an incident yesterday: I was fully geared: Gorka clothing, high cap vest, motorcycle helmet, facemask, sunglasses, mountain backpack. All pristine. Maximum protection. I was all bright green inclusive healthy and several energy stored. No fracture, wounds, sickness, pain or even damp. The perfect fighter of Chernarus. So i entered a red brick house (Dubrovka or surrounding) with the long floor in the middle (exits on both ends) and the big 2-door-rooms on each side. I was in the middle of the floor when I think I saw a Z in the corner of an eye (of course the Z (if there was one (i am not sure any more) was loudless at its arriving). In the next moment i heard a hitsound and all was black. I thought "Shiiiit this bastard hit me unconscious instantly! Never got this! My buddy has to save me!" but no: "You are dead". I never had one of this situations. I always had ninja-hulk-Z-situations but never an elite-ninja-hulk-situation like that. The fun was limited. I am ok if this happens every 500 Z-hits as it was in my case but i would like to state it here that i don't want to see this again any time soon. And maybe it is not intended anyways (or even a bug in the building structure) so count this as a bug report. <_<

I don't know what to test. I can't "play" more than several minutes till the server don't responds. In this several minutes: *Loot has two conditions: Not existing (can't test a system that don't shows up) and not pickable (can't test a system that don't reacts). *Zs are much but hypnotic. I don't know if it is that hard to do a good setting on them but as they were leet in 0.55 they are lame in 0.56 what their senses are about. I was three times on US-Servers with shown 150ping in the list because nothing in EUR showed up. Two times i was on the UK5 with 66ping but nothing different. I give up till next update. Sadly this is worthless. :(

Yesterday we had a lootplosion in a small military camp (after we visited a big camp with very low loot). In the small camp (3 baracks, 1 prison) was EVERY military item you can imagine in the dozens (even drum mags, supressors and plate carrier pouches). Except the things that are defined as chopper-special (AUG, smersh vest, M4, 5.56mm-stuff, M65 jacket, grenades,...(smersh vest btw is silly when you find the backpacks all the time.)) One category was missing too: SCOPES. Like the last weeks before we found not a single one. Something has to be wrong with them. I mentioned it before but someone responded he found several. But this can not be the norm or the lastest status. Because they are nowhere on the whole map on 2 dozens of different servers for us. Not a single one nowhere. This starts with 0.54. Till 0.53 we found scopes every hour. Also the choppers are broken. We found 3 western and 2 eastern. No one had loot. On different places. Trucks: No problem. We found one at the big military tent camp in the west. Their spawning is working good as i see it. Of course they are not so often to find.

It is so frustrating that the Zs are loudless as f****ng ninjas. Every game session i had the following situation: 1.) I see a Z in a certain area. 2.) Because they are so hard to melee fight and i have enough ammunition i shoot him (also because i know i will attract all the Zs in the area and so i can clean up this area at once for a while (till they respawn or walk in from far away)) 3.) I wait for them and kill em all. 4.) I wait for the late ones. 5.) I wait for the ultra late ones. 6.) No more Zs in sight or incoming. 7.) I walk in the building i was standing before (no Z was inside). 8.) I check the 2 items in the edge of the room. 9.) A Z is teleporting behind me and hits me a dozen times. 10.) I am raging for 2 minutes because of this motherf****** sh**. Please fix what ever causes this delayed arrival of attracted Zs and PLEASE give them sounds. Its so frustrating you can't hear them even doing a foot step or breathing. Edit: I appreciate the work from the devs. You are doing very well and the game is so nice growing! Thats the reason i play it again and again. Although i have some frustrating situations like above I really would like to see fixed quickly.

Whats the problem here? We had max 1 harder week and now the devs gave us a useable (old) loot system back till they fix the new one. Perfect acting! Thanks! Stable in this release progress can only mean it don't crashes all the time and you can play SOME situations. One time more, one time less. NOT a limited game in features. Keep that in mind! What i can report is: Keep away from crashed trucks (fallen to the side)! My buddy and I were able to climb out without an injury. I landed on the wheel side and was able to run away. My buddy landed on the roof side and instantly his legs were broken and he was dead in the next second. I did the mistake running to his body for loot saving. Instantly i was dead. We were geared as Green Berets. Sh**. Alpha. Bad luck. But be aware!

Yeah i agree basically. Get me right I don't want a PvP-Game with only a little bit nasty Zs. But if the Zs are a real threat I like to have a good working AND balanced system. By now they come through doors, are soundless (system) AND are strong like a tigertrain™ (balance). Everything together is maybe a little bit to hard. Especially when they become more in numbers (what is planed). Maybe it will be better if the system works as intended and assumed. NOTE: What i realized yesterday: The Zs are getting tired! After about 1 minute chasing you on high speed they stop and only walk after you. From there it is easier to hit them with the gun. Maybe also with melee. I haven't tried this because of my Jackie Chan experiences with them. After this experience i think i can say: Everything ok with the Zs, only fix the system so you can work with the physics (locking them in, slowing them down with hits, hearing them coming at least with foot steps etc.) and maybe change their fighting abilities from Jackie Chan's to Mr. T's. ;)

I appreciate that you can find water purification tablets more often now when you need them. My wish: Allow to combine them as ammunition, rags etc. Its hilarious to block a slot with 1 tablet. That counts for all the tablets and maybe some more items. In general i would like to see a tweaked inventory system. You have to carry that much items now and even with all the maximum slot clothings and bags you have to decide all the time throwing usefull things away. Now that a group of Zs only exactly ruined my smersh vest with backbag (i am sad about it but don't complain about it) I ask myself how i should even start living in the woods if i can only carry the essentials to survive. Not talked about the tremendous water and food supplies you need if you only want to travel to the next bigger city without to risk becoming thursty and hungry. So please increase the slots of several clothings (military pants with big saddle pockets should go (realistically!) with 8 slots and not only the M65 should have 8 slots at the jacket section). Also please make half slot items and let us place two of them in one slot (battery, thermometer, pen, heatpack, map, epi pen, morphine auto injector, fishing hook, chicken feather, chemlight, ...). Again its hilarious to block a slot with 1 of these. Over all I like the update because i had my good equiped char to start. Also it should be clear heading to the inland is clever and staying at the coast is not. Although Zs are ultra and my ammo is flying away because we are chanceless without guns against them. I don't have to mention that we should hear them coming and they should stumble when they got hit (shot) and not rushing into you like a train. A LITTLE bit slower than a human would be also more what a Z is supposed to be. In movement and in handling. By now they are soundless Jackie Chans. I know the loot system is on extraordinary experimental so i only mention that 2 weapon flash lights and the rest appearing as civilian junk (including a single trumpet) at a big unlooted military base in the west (over Zelenogorsk) is not a good mix you expect to and should find there. And i don't care if there are server hoppers who farm them dry every 15 minutes or there are already 200 AKs on the server. Finding nearly only books and dresses there is again hilarious. Not only for the reason that it is a game and not the nasty reality where we really would die for 90% in the first weeks or month. Because we all want to play DayZ and not a senseless death simulator. And for the reason this sound a little bit hard: I don't care if there is not everything for everyone in a squad but not a single military weapon, cartridge, clothing or equipment is one last time hilarious. :) Thanks for the good update! I like the icons, animations, (sound!) fixes and so much more. Even the Zs. But tweak it all a little bit maybe like i wrote above. Thanks! :)

I am happy with this release. The only thing i mentioned negatively is the feeling that scopes are super rare now. Even the PUs. I haven't found one for many play hours on different servers and locations while i found 2 smersh backpacks and a smersh vest, a Steyr AUG, dozens of different AKs, every ammunition, mags, some trucks and so on. What i'd like to say: I found MUCH, but NO single scope in this release. Shouldn't be normal this way.

The memory-bug is really annoying. It happens every 20 minutes. And every one has it. Please fix it fast. Thats the first problem i really care about in an alpha state. Thanks for the good work although. Oh and the maxmem parameter doesn't work for me. With it DayZ doesn't crash, the whole PC crashed...

I had another issue. I can't chop wood from trees. They never come down. I can chop bushes but i don't get some kindling too after they come down. Another thing is the loot appearance at the military base near Vyborg in the west for me too. I got on the whole unlooted airfield: 2 pistols, 2 ammo packs and nothing else what is called weapons and their equipment. I don't count a single additional protector case as this. The rest were dozens of military boots, a hand full of backpacks, clothing, some helmets and several useless stuff like barrets what i can find everywhere else too or is simple not worth the way. NO rifles, NO magazines, NO sights, NO weapon parts, NO rifle ammo, NO ammo containers, and a single UK assault vest. For about 10 huge military buildings this is a joke for the risk to enter a big airfield.
