Yes, we have still some disturbing issues when we spend time on this game but we play with our hope for future and enjoy much as never had before sometimes. Everyone who entered DayZ world know that there are some performance issues. We know that this is a temporary issue as the other issues due to game is in alpha stage. But we know that the biggest issue for now is that performance optimization. Almost everyone play DayZ on a Desktop computer, but there are some DayZ fans like me who have to play it on a laptop. We laptop players have real reasons to play it, most of us are mobil workers/students and all of us would use Desktop if there werent a necessity. So please kindly understand that we dont need "get a desktop", "you waste your money to a poor laptop", "laptop noob" liked recommendations. The purposes of this topic are: 1- To provide information/tip/experience/recommendation to laptop owner players about getting best performance with best graphics quality balance. 2- To provide information/tip/experience/recommendation to new laptop buyers about which models/hardware give the best performance with a good price/performance balance. Average FPS at wilds:20-25 Average FPS at cities:10-15 Please do not hesitate any kind of suggestion to this thread and please kindly give your two minutes to enter this database. I urgently and especially wonder how those new laptops like Asus G751, MSI GT72 and MSI GS70 with GTX 970M and GTX 980M gpus give performance on DayZ. I also wonder if there is a significant performance difference between low- medium- high- high end laptops. Is it a waste or must to buy a high-end? Whats the laptops limits for DayZ at the moment? For example upgrading from Asus N550 JV (specifications above) to a Asus G751 really worth 2000$ ? I hope many questions will be answered under this topic. Best regards.
