I cannot see why this idea has yet to be put into the game. I mean we already can use the pen to write a note on a piece of paper so logically speaking there should not be much coding changes needed to support writing on duct tape. That means that the only really work load would be implementing the ability to use duct tape as a label.

That first hour can be rough no doubt and during daytime it does seem that the zeeks have a huge aggro and are marathon runners. I look at it akin to a blood hound who can track for miles. If you think of a zeek as a super-predator one who's very survival is tracking warm blooded animals I think it is fitting that they have heightened hearing and smell. With that being said food can be a bit sparse along the coast I would suggest going inland more. Also red berry bushes and apple trees are great to just get you up and going when everything has been picked over.

When will persistence actually be full fledged

The latest status report from today on the forum makes no mention of persistence and last weeks just made a slight reference to coming months for core development which may include persistence. People come to the forum to ask the community for help and additional information as not all of us have time to read everything posted online about DayZ. With that being said if you are not going to contribute to the thread with at least a link why even post anything Yazar8? This is exactly what I hate too! http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/220686-multiple-monitors-issue/?p=2217555 Please stop game feed pausing when the DayZ game window is not active. Even if only the audio feed was maintained at least we could hear that we were being attacked and Alt back in.

I run in windows mode but even at that the game pauses video feed if the DayZ game window is not active. I hate this because if I get a message in on one of my other screens I cannot reply without making sure I am in a safe place otherwise some marathon runner zeek may creep up and kill me. Please DayZ Dev team implement correct game windowing. Some of us like to multitask while playing.

Totally happened to me once too. Ended up just using the get out key binding to get out of truck then logged out. DOING SO RESET MY CHARACTER WITH SOME ADMIN WAS NOTIFIED ERROR. However I was out and able to play again. It sucks to lose all your gear but its par for the course.

Why are the burlap sacks not stackable? I mean in the real you can easily put at least 5 bags in one shopping bag. I hate always having to find something to cut them into strips before they can stack. Furthermore, how is it that an ax can cut up a rubber rain coat into arm bands but it cannot cut burlap sacks into strips?

I was thinking overall loot percentages have changed with new items swamping quite a bit more than old items as I see more rain coats, brooms, and flare guns than anything anymore. Could just be that few people grab the rain coats and brooms but still it seems like the counts are off.

I'm not for autorun as I think if you really want this just go out and buy the gaming keyboard that support macros and scripts. That being said however, I think that an auto-follow would be great. Just double-clip your squad leader and hold W key to follow them until they stop. In the real I can easily follow my friends when we are hiking in the woods using all my senses. However in the game you can quickly lose each other in the forest because of speed reduction on inclines, impassible objects (trees, roots, fences), and no real surround sound. -
Absolutely 100% agree with you on this one. Even if we could just choose a general spawn location i.e. NE, S, SW and then you would spawn in one of the random spawn located in that rough location. This would at least allow new spawns to somewhat quickly meet up with squad mates.
