I know that I have already made this statement before but not officially in the suggestion section. But please implement proper window mode. I run in window mode now but the game pauses video feed if the DayZ game window is not active. I hate this because if I get a message/email/call/etc in on one of my other screens I cannot interact with it without making sure I am in a safe place or exit altogether. Please DayZ Dev team implement correct game windowing. Some of us like to multitask while playing.

My experience with the return of the infected. I walked every town from Solnichniy to Chernogorsk before I found some infected in Cherno. The first one I encountered I literally walked up within a foot of and talk to for 5 minutes and he didn't attack. He wasn't stuck either as we danced together around the street, I finally had to touch him before he decide I was annoying and attacked me. That said I never sprinted just walked away and he gave chase, if his slow pace could be considered chase. This did attract other infected and before long I had four following me around. They got stuck on an invisible texture in the middle of what appeared to be a clear wide path in front of the crashed plane. So I turned around to see why my infected entourage had stopped to only have them teleported passed their "block" and right on top of me. Needless-to-say I was injured but a friendly well geared individual provided rags freely and drew the infected away. After I bandaged myself, I re-engaged the infected who once again started following me. The friendly who provided me the rags must have thought I was still in danger and took it upon himself to rescue me by shooting my predators. The guns shots drew what must have been every infected in the town, only about eight total including my original group. This by no means was too many for my lone hero to overcome without what appeared to be any effort. To be honest, I defend DayZ and defend, but for what seemed like 5 months without infected this reintroduction is not what I expected. Where are the hordes, the crawlers, the roamers? With the end of 2015 drawing near I feel that DayZ is further away from the post-apocalyptic infected survival game I thought it was supposed to be then ever.

Was on the exact same server type? When dickong around on othwr servers I have logged off and when attempting to log back in to that server And it has changed from public to private. Of course joining a public server again restores my character. Just a thought.

yeah, had the same in the previous 56 build, I was trying to craft them and leave them for other people but no luck they would just disappear.

Ebrim, same here with the Elektro spawn one zed argo'd me and I knocked him out in two punches. The next one I found I had to ice axe six times, hmm has bare knuckle been buffed? Found mosin and food in first house I went into it is definitely how quick you get on after a new build. Found RAK with ammo in Jail started shooting zeds to see the reaction it was AWESOME! Had at least 10 trying to surround me then server crashed. bummer.

In the hours of playing I have found plenty of farming supplies which has kept me well feed and generous with food. However, I too have not found much in the way of firearms and have traveled and searched quite extensively. I do not mind though because this is not the US countryside firearms shouldn't be like I'm at a gun show.

Yeah, this is the new "customizable" inventory system. I for one like the option to change the ordering BUT... The order should not change when swapping existing items but rather only if you do not have that item on already. i.e. One has: Backpack Shirt Pants If you swap the shirt for a jacket you just found it should continue to be the second from the bottom. However, if you found a vest it would go to the bottom since it is a new item type. Doing it this way would keep the order system you like when you are fully geared regardless of item swapping for better/pristine gear. Yet, it would still allow you to undress completely and reorganize if you so desired.

What type of stick are you using I tried a sharpened stick and a regular stick. Unfortunately I did not have another ashwood one handy nor any ax, hatchet, saw to get one either.

Am I remembering wrongly or didn't we used to be able to fish in streams? Edit: Something is definitely wrong with fishing. I am totally unable to fish even in a large pond. In addition if you have your pole in hand and get too far into the water and start swimming you lose the pole as it does not return to your back. Edit-Edit: Ok, ok false alarm, I was not receiving from the server. But the issue with losing your pole still exists.

Been having a BattlEye file block popup that does not go away and must be manually closed for these updates. Anyone else having this issue I did a complete delete and reinstall of DayZ.

I have also found that replacing like clothing items cause the old item to completely disappear so be sure to move your inventory over before grabbing up that sweet new hunters jacket.

So I had plenty of room in my inventory and I checked the ground and moved around my inventory to confirm it wasn't the whole invisible item issue.

There is a bug when crafting splits whereas it uses your entire stack of rags instead of just one.
