Cool video and decent encounters but this isn't being a bandit. Out of three videos you killed two people who pretty much complied (I can understand the last one if he was stalling for his team). You hardly even took anything, you shot them and beat them so bad that their stuff was worthless. It would have been more interesting to take everything they had, stash it somewhere in the woods, leave the handcuffs on them and leave. This just seems kind of psychotic.

This guy is probably right, except for the BF4 part :P

You could run it on high. I would suggest checking out the Nvidia cards and a SSD instead of the TB unless you plan to store movies and music on it.

Yeah, that was pretty good. I enjoyed it.

That was an awesome video and encounter! Well done! -
I am already way more afraid of dying from starvation, dehydration or hypothermia. Not so much the Zed's as I was when I first started playing but that will change later. I would be lying if I said I wasn't afraid of a taking a bullet from another player, but to be honest if you play this properly, you can go a long time without coming across someone who can shoot you. You keep stressing that it's a Zombie survival game. The human factor is a huge part of the zombie apocalypse. You will stumble into people who will be your friend, some who will pose as your friend and others you will never see. If the feeling of distrust and potential harm with reward of making an ally ever goes away, I will be finished with this masterpiece of a game. As it stands, the Zombies are only a threat because they give your position away to potentially threatening players. All of the basics such as starvation, dehydration and hypothermia are still a threat, especially as a bambi, combined with being hit by a zombie.

Eh b'y! Fine tune, dat is! I am actually from Newfoundland but moved here to Nova Scotia 3 years ago

What do you mean you "can't play?" The game is completely playable but it's still in early development which means, not only did you buy a game that is awesome, you get to watch the development of it as well. It's not without it's bugs and you are going to get very frustrated when things don't work as they should, but, you can check the community here or on reddit and find solutions/workarounds for any issues you will come across. So basically, you bought a game that's in development, hence, Alpha.

Snipers =\= Killers By that logic, anyone with a gun is a killer. I spend a lot of time sitting on hills and watching towns so I can take down people I see killing bambi's
-
Exactly this. Some people don't see it this way but it's how I live my life, and it's how it's portrayed in DayZ. If I run through a town and meet someone, I have my gun out for safety, but I ask if they need anything. If they do, I drop what I can. I give people side arms all the time as well. It's not very often that I don't have 2 sidearms with clips and rounds, so I give them one and tell them to go on their way while I make sure they don't turn to shoot me. You can be helpful and safe at the same time.

Corner Brook! Nice. I'm in NS and have been for a couple of years but my home is CBS. Cool video, will be subscribing. Let me know if you want to hangout in game sometime.

THIS is what I love about DayZ! Everything is a new experience. -
I don't usually KOS but if it ever gets taken out, re-worked to punish you or even makes it harder to do so, I will be finished with this game. The entire point of this game is to make it realistic. Think for a second, if you were in a post-apocalyptic world would you not be hesitant? Maybe you would sneak around and gather your supplies and sit on a roof and kill everything you see. If everyone is dead, they can't take your food and supplies can they? They also can't take the supplies from the rest of the houses. I would go even a step further and limit the number of respwans allowed on a particular server per day, so when you do kill someone, it may be their last attempt on that server and they can't come exact revenge. Again, this is supposed to be a survival, realistic game. Don't complain when you are KOS because you didn't hide or be careful in a zombie apocalypse.
