I think this would bolster interaction on RP servers certainly. I would also assume RP'ers would welcome such an implementation, it would certainly be interesting if someone was hiding in the bushes near you and then you heard a door slam and a dog start barking followed up by casual conversation, like how was work ect ect. Despite all the ways that this idea could be circumnavigated the hand signals would be awesome, and maybe you could have the option for a server to be an "open mic" server so RP servers could add another layer to the immersion. I would just imagine that you would have to game in a relatively quiet place in order to avoid external noises from broadcasting over your mic. The idea is solid for sure.

Put the ammo in your hot bar and when you hit that hotkey it will chamber your weapon, good for when you must single chamber rounds when your rolling without a magazine.

Well in the interests of practice and RP, i mainly walk through cities and jog in the countryside. Been going through a ton of water even though i have not been overheating. I feel like if i can see my breath as i am walking around its should be pretty chilly out. I know walking is terribly slow when we have the option to sprint faster then Usain Bolt, but it drains your food and water 200% faster and if you need to have a gunfight your breath is out and the sway could get you killed.

Some of the old go to buildings are simply not spawning loots, i have had lots of luck with sheds, wrecked vehicles and deer stands. Even police stations were pretty hit and miss, found more weapons and ammo in vehicles.

I was worried you were about to shoot that poor soul, nice way to ratchet up the tension.

The new ui helps my fps by about 10+ so im getting around 25-30 instead of 15-18 in really heavy areas. But the hotkeys for swapping items with your hotbar work like a charm, one of the most noticeable differences apart from the old ui.

I never really had combat with one of those expandable batons, seemed like it really did the trick and quick. I would say it did a better job then the axe, maybe it was a lucky headshot but you still smashed those fools.

My favorite tactic is just to spot someone and track them as long as possible without being seen. Its not as easy as it sounds, people can still evade you even when they do not know they are being followed. Fun skill to hone and always leaves me wondering who is actually watching me when i think i am all alone somewhere.

Well if people are asking for melee weapons i wouldn't mind seeing a sap or blackjack type weapon that has a high potential to knock out a target if aimed right. Perfect for the rogue who can sneak in close.

When i find dead bodies at the bottom of ladders with just a starting kit, i skin em.

Believe it or not i used to keep a can a spam with me, just never knew if i might had needed something to eat in an emergency. I still leave the house with a couple of snacks most dayz like a granola bar or something similar, something about a little food with you in case you're needing a small pick me up during the workday or whatnot.

With an increase in the amount of infected it would be harder to loot and gather supplies thereby making plentiful loot less of a problem since you would have a harder time accessing it.

So the other day i was on a server with a friend of mine, it was dark and we were just wandering around somewhere in the middle of the map. We spotted two gentlemen with weapons drawn and patrolling through the woods off to our left, we both froze and wondered if they had seen us. Well it turned out these two guys had not spotted us so we decided to follow them. We mulled the idea of ambushing them and killing em but between us we only had a Pistol with no mag and 1 chambered bullet and an array of guns with no ammo. I decided we should just continue to follow them, as they looted several small towns and minor encampments we would hide in some bushes and stalk them. The thrill of the hunt was much more satisfying then the kill, as these two survivors were leaving town they unexpectedly decided to double back, both of them walked within 10 feet of us both lying in some tall grass. Its moments like this that make me wonder how many people i have walked right past while they held their breath and bide their time as i passed. You never know when your being watched, that is how i enjoy this game. Sure i have to kill some peeps from time to time and get killed myself often but times i have just stalked and observed people with no interaction but just to see what they are up too keep this game exciting. I guess the whole point is, enjoy the game any way you like maybe ill stalk you sometime and i can share a special moment with us.

Its your prerogative you can do what you want to do. However those are the moments that test you the most, cannot ever have an epic encounter where you defy all the odds when you just decide to cease to exist.

Hit your head falling from a standing position and you can die. 10 feet is pretty dangerous cannot guarantee survival i have only done this once before.

I have lived through worm poisoning before i doubt it would have killed you unless your blood was real low.

If it can possibly be helped logging out somewhere hidden is the best bet. Try using cover such as bushes or trees, logging into a server when you're in an open field is just begging to be KoS. If for some reason im playing on a public server and i know i was logged out in a questionable area due to a server reboot or DC issue, i just log into an empty server and move to a safer location then pick the server i wish to play on. DayZ is all about opportunity and i have been killed logging in on occasion and have also killed others whom have logged on right in front of me. I do prefer private shards as it minimizes people logging in around me(server hopping) and cuts down on the hacker shenanigans.

I really wasn't considering the time of year, if they factor that in then there will be some tough times during winter ahead for all survivors. Life is going to suck for DayZ survivors and i cannot wait.

Well farming is just one way to solve the hunger issue, if you have no other options then yes you may end up having to play DayZ farm sim against your will. There are going to be many ways you can achieve food in DayZ farming is one, scavenging, foraging, fishing, hunting are the others we have. Its really going to come down to opportunity, do you have the tools to achieve the goal you have? That is where the real fun begins, you start as a fresh spawn and find a shovel and seeds your hungry and thirsty you damned right im gonna start a farm. Find a rope and a fishing hook, get an axe and make a pole grab some matches or a flare and get a fire started. Its all about opportunity and DayZ is providing a wealth of opportunities its just takes some experience and a bit of luck to achieve survival. Good luck survivor its up to you to make due with the tools at hand.

The private server i play on has the persistence disabled so its just lootsplosion in all the new hot spots. Outhouses, Wooden Sheds and Deer Stands seem to be really lucrative. I was hoping for it to be much more tougher but aside from being cautious about agro on Zeds, It seems even easier then before since the loot is randomly distributed. Was able to fully gear myself out with firefighters uniform helmet ax and extinguisher in a single session. Plus found pouches for a Plate carrier that i passed up as i had found a high capacity vest in a shed. Cannot wait till they fix private shards so its a little harder and i can actually start a base and stash loot.

I have never attempted to get into a lifeboat, that ship is a death trap if your not careful.
