Blue, We were playing on the -=Vg= Victory Gamerz #2 Private Server before you went unconscious, I was Burt Reynolds in-game. As I was trying to revive you, I was shot-gunned down. PM me if you want to meet up again, it was nice meeting you... -

Damn, I was hoping she would see this. I don't meet many people that are that fun in-game. I usually just get shot at and called names... -
Hello, Now before people start replying with “Game is not optimized” I want to say I realize this, but I don’t understand why my FPS is This bad. One of my friends with roughly the same setup is getting better FPS and running pretty much all high\very high settings. This friend even claimed to have an average of 50 or more FPS even in cities. He is running a 770 GTX TI. Here is my setup: Win 7 x64 8 GB of ram (DDR3 1866) ROG Striker GTX 760 4gb Asus Z97 Deluxe MOBO Intel i7 4790 4.0 500 GB x 7200 RPM SATA drive In the wilderness I am hitting 45 – 50 FPS and in towns I Can drop down to 15 FPS, it’s a slide show… I have disabled shadows and turned off Antialiasing, but I maybe got an extra 5 FPS. I modeled my settings after this guide - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=216291078. I used the correct Launch Parameters for my setup and then set all in-game settings per the screen shots. I even went into the .cfg files and altered them with different parameters to no avail. When this did not give me the desired FPS (I expected more than 20 in cities) I wanted, I started to disable or turn off things like Shadows, Clouds, and Antialiasing, but this did not improve my FPS by more than 5 give or take. Am I missing something, should I not be messing with Launch Parameters or is my current Vid card just not as capable as running the game like my friends 770 GTX TI which he states is better for shaders?

I would like to get an SSD, but I think I will upgrade my ram first. And yes, I have 2x4GB sticks... I may as well just up to 32GB.

Thanks for your responses. I will mess around more with the settings to see what I can come up with. And to answer your question, creature, my friend is running an SSD with DayZ installed on it.

Hello, I was on a Private server last night, Winnipeg DayZ. I was stable for about 20 mins and after dying I re spawned I think in between Berenino and Nizhnoye. I was running south and came up on a bridge and after I went Under the bridge, my PC rebooted. No BSOD, nothing standing out in event logs, GPU and CPU temps were fine. Each time I tried to rejoin this server, I would load in and 30 seconds later, the PC rebooted again. I then tested several other private servers and did not have this issue, I could play just fine and did for about 10 mins on each server before logging out and trying another. I did recently upgrade my vid card over the weekend and had no issues during that time, but I had not logged into the Winnipeg server. I re installed the Video drivers, but did not test my RAM or HDD. Seems odd this would only happen on one server and not others where I was also a bambie and was not in a heavily populated area. My FPS was around 40 when the PC was rebooting. Anyone else ever experience a similar event?
