i also never stand still when looking for loot in such a hot zone and keep crouching when insinde buildings with windows. funny thing is, nobody came to nwaf when i was on full servers, most of them were on servers with about 4/40

Maybe you joined experimental server, they don't save atm? Also check if hardcore or regular because they are on different hives

Looting arc tower and someone shot my leg but I managed to crawl back in without gettin hit a second time. There I waited 20 minutes with my sks pointing towards the door but nobody came in.. my heart was pounding like **** but that was some time ago, by now I wouldn't take the chance standing a second still on top of arc tower because now I know that's a very bad spot to be..

lol same happened to me. i swapped my "faust" against "origin of species" and next time i log in i'm standing there with only my helmet, one of my 2 guns, and my shirt. press-vest, backpack, second gun, shoes and trousers were all gone :( Pretty shure nobody robbed me because i was in a small village very far north west...

and i thought i was getting paranoid because of a bird allways following me...

So i can already see where this goes... Instead of gasmasks bandits will choose black skinn since you mentioned the advantage of it. And It will end where it is now with the masks just we don't shoot gasmask wearing people but black, making this the ultimate rassist game lol. Hope you recognized irony

So today I was at the camp at nwaf and guess what, I found 2 lrs (badly damaged and pristine) and 3 acog (2 pristine and 1 worn). So all the end game equipment can be farmed easily... Not to mention tons of mp attachments other optics and magazine...

Obviously kids. Ever tried to walk 20 km or more with a gas mask? Or even better with full (even the light one) ABC clothing? Sometimes I thought I'd rather die than marching on... So I will only start to use gasmask when there is a reason for doing so...

Hey, as the title says i found a way to create more "speedloaders" for my magnum. all you need is some ammunition plus one real speedloader. First you load your gun with normal bullets, then you select with your mouse-action-key "reload speedloader". this will load your gun with the speedloader, creating a new "speedloader" shown as a bullet with no ammount in your inventory with the previosly loaded bullets. you can also notice on your mouse-action-key-menu you now have the new option "load .357 bullet". you can then drag your real speedloader from your gun back in the inventory and load normal bullets again, repeating the step discribed above. you can also reload your gun using the "reload" key with the so created "speedloaders". this is just what i experienced while playing, maybe everyone knows already but i wanted to share this finding with you :)

as the title says, i had to deal with a invisible zombie today. i was sniping some zombies 800+ m at neaf to get some practice when i suddenly got hit with the typical punching sound "bam bam". i quickly got up and ran 20 m or so checking my surroundings, but there was no one. i stand there about 5 seconds and get hit again. then i ran off, thinking maybe someone patched the silencer and its a guy with a 100 % soundless m4 shooting from far away. i ran about 1000 meters. when i decided to go back checking what happend. i went all the way back to the spot i got hit the first time. and guess what. someone hit me again, this time i started bleeding and ran about 400 meters, bandaged me and ran nealry all the way up to nwaf because i was paranoid. there i drank something and it only took about 3 seconds to go back to healthy, and thats why i think it either was an invisible zombie or an invisible player punching me, because it didn't deal any real damage. or maybe amphibia s? just rendering the video, then ill upload it... video: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/182234-invisible-zombie/

100 percent agree. @ op when you are in a "first person shooter community" why do you play third person? makes no sense to me.

Pretty much the title says everything, I am playing on experimental hardcore and there is quite a race for items, so I have to choose between those 2.. Anyone has experience which one is better?

I usually stick to the mosin too as my character progresses, I just like the m4 when starting because I feel safer when searching for lrs. it happened more than one time I ran into people that didn't want to talk at nwaf and its more likely for me to get out alive with m4 at closer range. So btw I did my testings and came to the result, that impacts didn't render past 100m or so. Could be due to heavy rain or something wrong with experimental, 2 days ago I could see my mosin shots hit the ground past 800m on stable and I didn't change my setting

ok thank you :) mhm don't like the sks because of its inaccuracy beyond 200m and i found a pristine acog... when i come across some more ammo and not only 0/30 magazines i will test it a little...

Everyone knows the place. You find a spaceshuttle there which takes you to the moon. There you can kill aliens and loot their bodies for some nice as50 with thermo- and nightvision... Also its silenced...
