    Is it still possible to install, find activity for, and play the DayZ mod without using Steam at all? Would I have to manually update to 1.63 or would I play games in 1.62? Which launcher do I use? I already own ArmA 2 Combined Arms from gog.com (current version: 1.62.95248). I'm mainly interested in vanilla DayZ and would like to avoid putting Steam on my computer if at all possible.
