Haha, that made me chuckle more than it should have!

Part 2, for anyone who was wondering what loot we were able to salvage. Note, Part 2 isn't very exciting - so don't bother watching unless you get off on loot porn! ;)

Update - I've added a brief follow up video to show some of the loot we were able to savage and to prove that we made it off the island alive - see original post. (Some Reddit users commented that they wanted to see the loot and some even suggested that two of the unfortunate squad members might have regained consciousness and murdered us!).

Indeed, the poor bastards! I do feel bad for them, but it was a silly place to log in on a high-pop server! (there were 40 or so people in at the time). Hah, yep! Lesson learned, the hard way!

Someone on that video sounds like Bruce from Family Guy...

Thanks Quark, I'm a big fan of your show! ;) It's certainly not the first time, either! :)

Haha, yep - I know what you mean! We've been playing on GlobalGaming #1 a lot lately and occasionally venture down to Chernarus...might catch you around there sometime! Thanks Tops, appreciate it! -

Yep, we were certainly left with egg on our faces! haha. We could tell he was dodgy from the get-go, yet we still gave him the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, I didn't realize my mate had also turned his back on him while I was collecting sticks...which gave him enough time to draw his rifle. By the time my buddy noticed, it was too late! Definitely a blunder on our part. I agree that you can tell a lot about a person from the voice alone, and this guy did sound dodgy. Brits are perfectly capable of backstabbing - one of our worst betrayal experiences was at the hands of a fellow Brit! :) -
Haha, I do enjoy the pure hatred that some 'hardcore' players feel towards 3PP. Does it not occur to some people that we're all different, and we like different things? There's nothing wrong with that. Stick to what you enjoy, and let others have fun doing what they enjoy (no matter how much you look down on it from your imaginary high-horse). It's NOT the fault of 3P players that 1P servers are half empty - 1P just isn't as popular. That's how the world works. Generally speaking, businesses don't tweak popular products to appeal more to the minority at the expense of the majority - it's bad business sense.
