Are we gonna ever get 40-60 fps on average in cities(50+ outside cities) on decent pc?

This helped me alot - especially the viewDistance and sceneComplexity. Configuration Files The following tweaks were found online and really helped with getting my FPS higher. First off locate the below file under the below location. C:UsersyournameDocumentsDayZyour_dayz_profileyour_dayz_profile.DayZProfile Set the following options : mouseSmoothing=0; – Optimal. This should help sort out mouse acceleration problemssceneComplexity=150000; – This number affects your object details.shadowZDistance=50; – This is the distance at which shadows are drawn.viewDistance=1000; – This number affects the distance view (trees, grass etc…).preferredObjectViewDistance=1000; – This willaffects the distance that the objects will be drawn.
