Beware people, because in your journey...you might encounter a new entity wandering around Chernarus seeking for you. I'm talking about... The Bambi Bandit! No, but seriously, today I encountered a couple of bambi bandits in Chernogorsk, I was looking for some matches and as I enter a house near the supermarket I noticed a guy going up the stairs, I approached and said "hi, how's it going?". He didn't replied. Then his friend showed around the corner upstairs, he said "oh, hi there" while raising his Sporter .22. I hid down the stairs I said multiple times that I was friendly, then he asked if I was and I yelled "YES man, I'm friendly...put the gun down...". But instead of lowering the weapon and be friends he says "Put your hands up and walk out there. I'm gonna shoot man" and then I thought "why would you ask if someone is friendly while aiming at him and then threaten him?" So since he already knew I was friendly (I wasn't with my weapon equipped) and still aims at me trying to shoot, I ran out the house yelling "f*** you!" then pulled out my Mosin and peeked in the corner. Took one shot to the chest which ruined my gear, I shot him once and saw him bleed, then shot again...He's now dead. I go up the stairs saying "I told I was friendly you s** of a b****, you only had to lower your weapon. That's what you get for threa..." and at this point I realize there were two of them, I'd forgot that fact! As soon as I turn my head to the right I notice his friend with his axe up ready to chop me in half...Thank god the kiwi in my top soften the hit and I survive...Shoot him in the head once and boom...he's dead as well. Then I have to deal with 4 zombies coming in and 2 more bandits fully geared. But I shot one breaking his leg and ran. I had like only 3 bullets left, was low on health and they had M4s and AKs. This new breed of bandits scare me, they look like good people so you go and talk to them, just like I tried to talk to "Blunt" here. But they ask if you're friendly so they can use that against you "oh, he's friendly...he won't expect to be shot in the back". 2 bandits less in Chernocity... At least they died together...

Today I met a guy (almost not gear at all) that was growing some plants. He asked for some water, I told him I didn't have any, but I would go out to find some for him if he give me some vegetables. He agreed, so I went to Novo (closest town) to find some water bottles, filled them with water and went back to the farm. Saw the farmer handcuffed by a fully geared player, and saw him forcefeeding something to the farmer so I shot the guy and freed the farmer, he kept most of the dead bandit's gear and thanked for saving him and his farm. Was a pretty nice day So...this does encourages to teamplay, can't wait to see full farms trading food for ammo in a future :D

I Cannot craft the splint! it does the animation, but it won't actually craft it. Instead I get to only cancel the current action and that's about it

Today I was playing on a private server I frequently play on (Jack Masons Cherno Cooperative | Vilayer.com), I broke my leg going to the second floor of a house (this has happened many times since a couple of patches ago). So I crawled my way to the nearest tree and chopped it down, and cut a log into brances in order to craft a splint. And at this point I get the "no message recieved" thing and eventually I get kicked from the server. So, I tried to log back in but the server is now empty and is 07.00hrs, I thought it was just a restart and when I finally get in I spawn at the house again, so I crawled my way back to the tree and chopped it again, doing the same process and at the exact same point of my task I get the message again and the server is empty and 07.00 again. I did this 6 times and the 6 times I got the same problem. The 7th time I tried to do this I was a fresh spawn and the 8th time I was another fresh spawn and I could see the old me (1 hour of difference between 7th and 8th times). I doubt that I can get my fully customized Mosin Nagat and my old character, but is there a way to fix this? I have to now find another server, I looted the whole thing after a lot of travelling and killing bandits...Welcome to Chernarus my friend :) hehe

No, my connection is fine, not issues with that. I don't know if it is from the server itself or the game

I died laughing after reading 6 or 7 words

The funniest part of this is that yesterday while running from Chernogorsk to Elektrozavodsk on the same server, with the same character I just lost I got the red message and got kicked, after I logged back in 5 minutes later I was at Elektrozavodsk's harbor, swiming...with 90% of my gear dissapeared (I also had a fully customized Mosin Nagat), so I had to swim back to the coast, find new gear, fight my way trough the city and find a new Mosin Nagat.

There are no factions, That's a fact. This is a SANDBOX game, where people can play WHATEVER they feel like. But every kind of gameplay has consequences. Heores usually are honored by common survivors, Bandits usually get the better loot but they die a lot more, KoSers are the disgrace of Chernarus, and so on. You can be whoever you want to be here but every action (just like IRL) has a consequence and that's the consequence of the guys who asked if I was friendly and then tried to shoot me as I was leaving. Here, let me use these... PS: QQ More m8, Wouldn't surprise me if you were that "Blunt" or his friend.

Being a Hero is for b****es. I'm just another survivor, but If they are dumb enough to shoot me, then they'll have to tolerate their death. I stated I was friendly, if they belive that or not is their problem. If they shoot me, well...deal with it then.

I don't understand any of those issues. when .52 went live on experimental there was no loot for me. Once it hitted stable I've seen loot pretty well distributed. And I've been playing SEVERAL hours lately

Hey, is this still a thing? Because I've found a lot of bandanas lately but I cannot untie them and tie them back as masks. Am I doing something wrong?
