Hey guys, to make a long story short Ive played dayz standalone before and it worked perfectly fps wise. Then at patch 0.45-0.46 I started getting crashes and i fixed it by updating all my drivers and running an OS error software to fix all OS errors. This worked because the crashes stopped but a new problem emerged. Pretty much everytime I enter a building whether its in cherno or some small village. I get a little freeze and then a huge fps drop which make my screen look like I just logged in an everything still needs to render. Sometimes I can look through the building but 90% of the times my screen looks like-> see attached files. At this point everything works very laggy and choppy and the game becomes unplayable. When I choose a different rendering solution everything becomes normal again for a short period of time. This same problem also occurs when I aggro a zombie. Which pretty much means im dead because the game becomes so laggy and unclear i cant fight the zombie. Things I have tried: -different performance guides -run the game on extreme low settings -use nividia experience get the right settings for my PC -update drivers -uninstall dayz + reinstall serveral times -run steam integrity check on gamecache -run OS error fixer im clueless guys please help
yeah I tried doing optimised settings but it didnt work. my settings are already custom. My specs: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E8600 - 3.33ghz 4 GB ram Nvidia 750 GTX TI OC - 2GB Its not the best, I know. But till not so long ago i ran dayz so smoothly so im wondering what suddenly changed that i keep getting these fps drops
