+1 for disadvantages when wearing helmets/masks based on RL. -
Bad idea. IIRC the plan is to have the server check in intervals how many Zeds are alive and then respawn the missing ones in random places again without restart. Which sounds good for me. Having them spawn based on player actions makes them a detection system again which was one of the worst things in the MOD.

If there will be 20 (or whatever) weapons with 3 attachments and 2 magazine (sizes) and different ammo - each in 5 possible conditions...you`ll have a hard time to find the matching parts for your weapon - is my guess.

Plus you should be either bleeding or get infected with at least the second hit - threat created. Cause even if you loose them in a building/bush you took "damage". -

I feel the same way.... Gearing up is giving you sth. to do. But if you have done it so often there is no challenge in it anymore. Once geared up there is little excitment left. -

Why does everybody think it would be different in a "real" apocalypse? No more society, no more social rules, only you close to dying and an overall enemy territory. Ofc. Zeds are not as dangerous as men. They can`t handle weapons. And don`t want your stuff...
