A hacker nuked your server get used to it as of yet there is no way to prevent the hackers from doing what they do.

My group has 7 atvs stashed in different locations lol its funny seeing so much drama occuring off of one lost atv o.o... 4 we found broken down and repaired (in pairs) and the other 3 we found one on a bridge, one in woods with red engiine and no gas and the last was at the nwaf which we stole.

If it was on a bridge 99% chance someone flipped it when they went over it and it flipped itself back over on restart. Kobra left in there because its trash gun and who carries 6 jerry cans around with them anyways? Whats next did you forget to mention there was also an instant setup fully stocked camp stashed inside?

I have never been spawned in the ocean and I use ghillie suits all the time. Well not all the time but whenver I happen to find one anyways.

Lately been either having terrible luck with people finding our cleverly hidden camps lost maybe 13 camps in last few days. How often does everyone elses camps get found and raided? It seem we cant keep a camp for more then 1-3 hours anymore. It used to stay safe at least a week or so. I call shenanigans but others here disagree and say its groups of players grid searching 24/7. Whats everyone elses experience with having your camps raided?

Wow what a bunch of babies, the guy puts up his OWN money to host a server so YOU guys can enjoy the game. He doesnt owe you anything if you dont like how he runs his server go play another one there is plenty out there.

I have seen th crashed c130 not tents around it tho, also was no loot around it it was also near the north east airfield.

Ok well we found out who the hackers were and since they were banned our new camp has yet to be touched. They messed up, 2 guys with a jeep were at our camp we mowed them down and packed everything up and drove off to a new location. Bad luck someone found our camp whatever... I was using the ingame map to find a new spot and I noticed a marker on our old camp. Kicker is Everytime we stopped our convoy to scout an area for a possible camp a marker would pop up right where we were... Afterwards we waited at a spot with good view and all logged out and back in under different profile names. Lo and behold the same 2 guys we killed came running right to where our new camp was not 20 minutes later. We killed them again and moved camp once more, again I noticed them place a map marker it was obvious what was happening now so we logged out again and waited a bit thinkin maybe it was just a fluke. Again the 2 guys showed up after about 30 minutes and this time took off with there jeep we had taken and our supply truck. There was only 2 other ppl on the server since it was night besides those 2 and our group so we banned the 2 and have yet to have our camp raided again. The 2 we banned were long time players on our server so its interesting to see the camps that had previously been found within 1-3 hours are now lastng over a week again and still going.

I check all the windows to make sure nobody is hiding in any of the rooms. Once I see you sitting there camping id go in and throw a frag grenade into the room then loot all your stuff. SOmetimes they dont die tho so double tap to the back of the head as they lay there broken and bleeding finishes the job.

I have never seen this before and am concerned because our camp has an x marked on it saying here now. Everyone in my group can see those markers on there map now and none of us has seen it before.. Anyone can explain to me what these are how they work and if they are legitly in the game?

Using the map shift + double left click adds a marker and everyone on server with a map can see it.

we went 1/2 way across the map then a 1/4 way to a diff spot after they magically marked our new camp right after we dropped off our vehicles.

There is people using hacks map hacks its on youtube and today we just proved it. We had a camp get raided luckily we logged in right as they were there and killed them all. They only ever raid when we offline so its kinda... Anyways today we were watching the map after having been raided and noticed a marker on our old camp... We hopped in our convoy and took off across the map. We made just to keep an eye behind us and make sure we were not followed. Anyways we finally pick a new camp seconds after we arrive we look on the map and they had marked our new location on the map after getting there... So we figure maybe one of us did it on accident and we move camp again just to be safe. Lo and behold no problems BUT as soon as we all log off tho I wait around for about 20 minutes offline not logged in. I log back into the game at our camp and supply truck and jeep is gone along with all our loot and tents were run over. Is no way they coulda followed us without vehicles and we left sentries to make sure nobody did.

get a toolbox and just take them down seriously... whats the big deal?

I have yet to have a problem starting out... maybe a couple times when I got hit bandaged and got hit again and had bad luck not being able to find another bandage b4 I bled to death but that was my own fault for rushing around being stupid lol.

Why do soooooo many people have trouble understanding what an alpha test is.... seriously all these people acting like this is a live release or something lol.

So if your group had your camp there for 3-4 weeks b4 it was raided once how is it not a clever spot? Yeah I other people have picked it but in a game where there is over 70k users online at a time and a map so small its only .... oh I see what you did there lol.

Its not about the loot or any of that its about being able to create a place of your own. Any survivor in a zombie apocalypse is gonna want to find a small group of people find a place to bunker down fortify and weather the storm in. Since fortifying cities/ buildings towns is not yet in game your best bet at the moment is to set up camps in the wilderness with vehichles and stockpiling some goods to survive longer.

I agree I understand that people would eventually find them every camp will be found eventually my point is that them being found and raided within hours of setting them up so consistently is just hard to believe. Yes some of those places are tentish but then wouldnt the tents we had have been found as well most everytime our tents were left alone in open fields but cars that were hidden in trees out of sight were raided or stolen... Thats why im asking other peoples experiences and how long on avg does a camp like those i showed get raided? We could always be lame and go way off the map into nothingness land but whats the point you could then just go raid the airfield or players in towns and get the loot you stored in same amount of time as it takes to drive way the hell out there and back over and over.

People I play with I have been gaming with for 7 years so its not a traitor and we have no new people hanging with us. The map I provided I marked myself to show a general location of where are camps were. I included it so people could have a better idea on whether or not our camps were just poorly placed or well hidden. We took time to find those spots making sure its away from well traveled areas or between deerstand/towns/watering holes etc and not in obvious places. Some were a good 10 minute drive/30 minute walk from anything worth visiting.

We never leave anything in the open always inside trees as close as they can get to the trunk usually only being visible from one angle or completly hidden in trees(our atvs) maybe the front of a tractor or the corner of a car or truck. The thing thats most suspicious though is that our tents which were sometimes setup nearby in open fields were completly untouched and unseen dmrs etc in them, even tho they were not hidden at all....

You guys do know what an alpha is right? It means they still adding new content to the game and there will be lotta bugs and glitches and things not working right. In beta they will work on ironing out all the bugs and making a smoother game experience. Till then though we are here to test out the new content they are adding so they can adjust as necessary. It seems to me people think this is a released live version of a game and are threatening to "cancel there subs" because the game has bugs lol.
