The map hacks exist its been proven its been seen in use the luck of finding camps that everyone keeps claiming is stupid. It takes hours upon hours to search a single server for camps and thats if they have a vech to use. Sure some camps are found and raided that way but when multiple camps completely seperated and concealed well are found within such a short period of time its a map hack period. We have had camps last 1-4 weeks then days where camps wont last for more then 1-3 hours just watch whos online each time your camp is raided. Logout and back in under a diff profile name and camp your camp kill the people who come or get there names is its on and then ban them. BOOM your next camp will likely not be found again for another 1-4 weeks which is the usual time frame where camps are discovered. Your camps will always be found its inevitable so dont get too attached. We quit even trying to conceal ours and just put them in obvious places and make them big and scary looking. This is what we did on our most recent camp and it has yet to be raided almost 5 weeks now lol.

Weapons make a big difference in group vs group pvp. My favorite gun is the mk48 2 shot kill and 100 rounds, its pretty accurate up to 300m with single shots and can burst down large groups of players with ease. I was alone and stranded outside of electro after our van had to make an escape people were trying to take it. I ended up sneaking up on the group of 6 we were fighting against and killed all of them by myself ended up only using 46 rounds I pumped a good 5-6 into each just to make sure they were dead and a few more to kill zombies I had aggrod. I think had I been using a diff gun the intimidation would have been low and they woulda just turned around and found and killed me. Since it was a hail of bullets flying at them they freaked out and lost any sense of team work and coordination and it was easy pickings.

Player base is not decreasing its increasing you see lotta 1/2 full servers because there is soooo many more servers now. The unique user count has been going up and up over 550k uniques do you not watch any of the interviews or read any interviews with rocket lol?

I have found the m4a1 Holo it wasnt silenced tho and it had a grenade launcher I picked it up from spawn at the nwaf barracks. I never got to use it tho i stashed it in my bus and by time I went back to nwaf and found some he grenades for it server had crashed and it was gone from the bus =/

I had that hapen to me before, was sitting in my ghillie with my m249 saw just got it earlier and wanted to go try it out saw some guy running with an m14 so I lit him up usually people die in 4-6 hit I swear this guy took at least 20 hits. I thought maybe he was just lagging he turns around sees me and starts running straight at me I unload at least another 40 rounds into his chest and he reaches me runs around me 3 times all while im still unloading on him he then stop and shoots his m14 right into my face it shot faster then my saw did lol like a minigun. I thought after I shoulda just quit the game but I guess I was just in shock as this super human machine ran up to me and ended my life after being hit by a hail of bullets lol.

More stuff to build, tank traps wire and the elusive sandbags are nice but more tuff would be sweet deer stands you can build, maybe concrete bunkers, camoflage netting, walls, maybe even small buildings (would take up 12 slots and once set down somewhere would take 100 or so scrap metal to repair fully? Strongboxes locked gun safes etc that need keys to open. Stuff that draw groups of players together to build up encampments and give other player incentive to go find that and fight for them. A built up camp could change ownership several times a day and would create new pvp hotspots (in random places to prevent hoppers) for fully geared players/ teams and keep people from just camping cherno and electro for lulz. Maybe make it so built buildings spawn rare high value loot but require regular maintence (ie they slowly take dmg and need to be repaired often to maintain loot spawns)

LOL you can get banned for selling the items, instead he can sell the time it took him to aquire those items then is nothing they can do as hes selling his time not the in game items. I say go for it more people who pay cash for cool items = more and easier targets for me to get the good items lol.

Really you guys? LOL if you thought of raiding a store or pharmacy or going to a convenience store as your plan your alredy dead... How many more people do you think have that same exact plan? Myself I already have bugout bag and bugin supplies, food to last at my home for 6 months, several weapons sks, mossberg 12ga, bersa 9mm, ruger 10/22, mousin nagant and a sig sauer 45 2-600 rounds for each. Stay home lock up tight and watch the situation unfold for the 1st 3 days minimum preferably 3 weeks, one of the rooms in my garage I built has 2 very sturdy steel doors that lock form the inside, an attic ladder in same room can get to the roof if needed from the attic, weapons and water is stored up there, and my handguns stored downstairs, closet in same room is stocked with the food storage. 3 55 gallon barrels of water in the back yard shed. After that depending on how it looks outside may try to head out to the mountains 3 hours drive from my house cabins and streams nearby plenty of game to hunt and a few ranches no idea how to farm tho lol. Would fortify that area in case any infected wandered in, then sit back and live it up in the mountains. Go back down in a year or two see what the cities look like scavenge for clothing and necessities.

Its been explained before the people using the scripts will get global banned anyone found having multiple scripted weapons / vechs in a certain period of time will get dayz banned. The likely hood that you aquire multiple hacked wepons in a short period of time is next to zero unless you are doing it on purpose or using an alternate account to do the scripting for you while you keep your main account clean.

When I respawn I ignore everything and just head to the airfield, if im lucky i find an enfield on the way then I just kill the 1st person I see there and boom im fully geared again takes me all of 40-45 minutes. Loot the airfield and get some better gear and continue on my way to do whatever I want.

Problem is after you die you can get it on your new character even if you never aggrod a zombie or took damage. Most people dont realize it till its too late and only way to fix it is to respawn again and that sucks.

Didnt they already say they have dayz working with the new arma 3 client tho??

With arma 3 coming in the future I dont think arma 2 dayz will ever make it out of alpha/beta as resources will be poured into the arma 3 version instead. From what it seems dayz arma 2 is an expirement to gather data and stuff that works so they can make a polished dayz standalone game with arma 3.

A silenced m4 cco can not be heard over the bullets wizzing past you at over 50m. Its my main gun i like to use when i have ammo for it and kill a lot of ppl and they never see me in my gillie suit 50 m in front of them. The mp5 is even quieter tho not as accurate and harder to get headshots with. Only give away is the small puffs of smoke after each shot if your not looking you wont see it and most ppl who just heard a bullet whiz past are not standing around looking for puffs of smoke lol.

Adrenaline is strong it can keep a person moving even after sustaining mortal wounds?

Its hackers using the map hack just watch out for whos online when it happens, good thing to try is switch profiles so they think you logged off and wait 15-30 minutes keep jumping on server to see whos online. After a few days it should be obvious whos doing it and just ban them. We did that and have since had any problems having our camp raided its been 2 weeks now.

I have one and practicing with the flares and smoke i have found its not too hard the sights say 1, for 100m and 2 for 200 meters elevation plays a big factor as well you just gotta practice. Camp the nwaf you will get lotta smoke and flares and a good amount of HE ammo for it when your looking. Most often tho anyone I hit with it that doesnt die freaks out and insta logs out =/

I been waiting 10 years for a zombie apocalypse game. Its just too addicting -.-

I have been alive almost 2 weeks now, I have all tools including gps, nvg, ghillie suit, m4a1 cco sd, m9sd, my group has a fortified camp with several vechs and plenty of backup gear as50, fn fals, m24 etc. Like I said I have seen them several times in my time playing but as much as I play roughly 8 hours a day and only having seen them in action what 10 times? Thats once every few days... dunno what to tell you man.

I have encountered several but y no means is it riddled with hackers. I have been killed 2 times in all the hours and hours and hours playing y hackers wiping the server. I have been ported into the ocean (everyone on the server) one time. I have seen hacked vechs 4-5 times. I seen hacked wepons only a handful of times. So counting all the time I have played and only having those encounters above id say the hackers are preety few and far between.

Same problem I logged out safe and sound at camp logged back in and now everytime i login I go into 5 min unconciousness even if i get epi pens, when i login again timer comes back.....

So i died out of nowhere in middle of nowhere. Now everytme I login I get 5 min unconscious timer even if nothing is even around me in middle of a forest. Its extremely annoying having to wait 5 minutes to play everytime I login I read about ppl having this issue in the past is there a fix for it yet?
