If all my friends get this game and we roll around together, I can only assume shit like this is going to happen to me. Everyone is mean to me. XD

I want to know my fellow newbies, have you already done anything you wish you hadn't? Big or small, vent here. I'll go first. I'm sitting next to a friend who just purchased the game from steam. I wanted to show him the game mechanics, so I joined an almost empty server. It was me, and one other person in the entire map. I figured "eh, what are the odds?" So the entire time he's kinda back seat playing, insisting I stay down and quiet as to not attract attention. I tell him "look, there's no way we're gonna run into the ONE guy in this massive map. Besides, he likely isn't looking for a fight if he's on a smaller server, and it's not like zombies are really that much of an issue." I run into a police station and find an MP5. So after about creaming my pants (I like MP-5s shut up) I tell him that I have both primary and secondary weapons for us. I was sitting on about 4 guns, two for each of us once he gets set up. So I get excited because I had just happened to grab a 30 round mag before coming to this town, and I had succeeded in my mission of arming both of us. "I wanna go shoot it." "Dude, no, you're going get swarmed" "I'm tellin ya I don't think they're that many zombies, besides I'm armed to the teeth." I run outside to find a zombie. Bang bang he's dead. I check out the reloading animation. He gets irked because I'm being loud, both in game and on his couch. "Dude I've been running around the middle of fictional fucking Russia for hours, Ima fire my gun now. And there just aren't that many zombies or anything else around." "You're sure?" "Yes! I'm sure. This map is massive. It's like 200+ plus square..." I see the other person. I this town in the middle of no where. "..." "..." "OH SHIT!" I empty the entire magazine into his back. "..." "..." "..." "..." "I panicked." "YOURE A DICK" "IM SORRY" "WHY!? "BECAUSE I PANICED! WHAT ARE THE ODDS!? WHAT ARE THE FRIGGEN ODDS!?" So yeah. Sorry random guy I ventilated. I feel like a douche. But now we have a lovely inside joke.

Its been proven that the most annoying sound on the face of the planet is another person chewing in your ear. So who in their right mind thought that it would be a good idea to play this disgusting sound file every time I have to eat? <_< Is there a way to just remove it? Because seriously, its annoying as balls to have to hear that every 5 minutes.

I kill anything thats not a fresh spawn. Getting spawn camped is just lame, so I dont do it. But otherwise I consider this a PvP game and play it as such.

I haven't played since the mod, and that was ages ago. Im waiting for parts to come in for a new computer that should be able to run this game. So ive been trollin around on youtube to see how things have progressed. One thing Ive been wondering is can you pickpocket other players? Like sneak up and take everything from their bags? If so, what are some of the things youve taken from other players?

Ive never had the chance to shoot a 1911, and I really do want to try one. So far my only experience is with handguns are the Glocks 26, 42 and 22. I own the 26, and others have let me try their own guns. I'm not against 1911s, I just like to watch the in fighting. :lol: Only gripe I could have about them is mag size. Personally I dislike the grip safeties, but I wont hold my own tastes against the design.

The problem is your using a 1911 and not a glock. (Flame war will ensue in 3...2...1..)

Back when i played the mod, everyone knew me for the hatchet. Why you ask? I went on a 5 man killing spree in one of the bigger towns, whichever had the school. One dude just didnt wanna die, even after I chased him up and down the school building and out the door. The entire time I hacked him up on the ground i was yelling "I STILL LOVE YOU". While that was happening someone came around the corner asking "What the literal fuck is going on over here?". I saw his gun and decided I wanted it. Thank god he missed. I always carried a hatchet with me, and when I died everyone made an effort to ensure I had one. Likewise, everyone hummed Benny Hill when I locked onto a target.

It seems to me that this a PvP game. You may set your own teams (factions, clans or just your friends), but at the end of the day the only objective is to survive. Its not like the zombies are any threat once you get geared up, and thank god. Theyre so jerky and unsynced that it would be a pain in the ass to deal with. Human players are the ultimate challenge, the strongest threat to survive agaisnt and compete for resouces. Shots could come from anywhere, 360 degrees from any floor or any hill. The constant threat of attackers is what provides the rush. Having to constantly have ears and eyes open builds the atmosphere that makes the firefights so crazy. Hearing a shot in the distance can really get you pumped, or scare you shitless depending. After this game gets some more progress and we can have massive clan or faction wars, or otherwise another enemy to defeat then i wont kill everything i see. Until then, theres nothing else to do. Only thing i wont shoot are fresh spawns, because getting spawn camped just sucks.
