I had not seen it to much until the latest patch and i also see it quite a lot now, sometimes you can wait and it gets past it, other times i have to close commander and try again.

I've jumped out a fair few planes but the longest free fall i have had is 20 seconds, pretty cool shit. My first ever jump we landed about 5 metres from the biggest set of breasts on the beach..she was impressed..so were we ;) Halo in game is cool but not very dayzesque really.

QFT All of the above. Zeds are a total non issue atm, possibly the worst and easiest they have been since the beginning. We need them moving faster indoors and we definitely do not need a 'quick grab' option, smoother animations will hopefully go a long way towards fixing some of the hopeless ones we have now..but regardless, you can still enter the smallest industrial , get in the door and grab a toolbox and a tyre and then get out without any worries even with zeds glitching through walls. Bring back the eternal chasing Zeds of last year , anything to get rid of the hopeless ones we have atm.

Wait...what ? No imagination. I nearly stopped reading right there. I mean..really ? ^ Perks ? You need perks or some sort of rewardy trinkety thing in DayZ so you can help someone out in game ? To me it sound like you are limiting yourself, not the game limiting you. Fair enough there is not a complete shit ton of things to do on so far as what we would like to be in and what we hope will be brought to us in SA , but i fail to see that no matter what is added will change peoples playstyles...for long if at all. Even at the very beginning when there was not such a big playerbase you would see bodies on the beach. I can bet a lot of the players back then had never even accomplished getting a working vehicle or flying a heli, but they sure had the art of knocking of new spawns down pat.

Zeds havin' a siesta in during the heat of the day or whenever..has it ever been brought up ? They are still human so no matter what at some time they are going to need to rest..or is the whole deal that just go until they run outta juice and then die. Energized bunny zeds ?

I made it easy on myself. My two main chars are - Hero on one server who is a full hero and will only shoot when shot at or if i can confirm that someone being shot at is either a new spawn , unarmed or being seriously ass raped by bandits. Bandit on another server who is full bandit no remorse, no mercy no regrets. On runs across the fields he will leave dead animals in his wake, even the rabbits.

I was hoping they would keep the inventory system under wraps until release..would be nice to have some major surprises.

I really pray to the Lord of Fuck that server hopping and scripting is so low as too not really be too much of an issue in the SA. It was much cooler when your one char was the same guy across all servers. Atm it is quite the task keeping track of the which bandit/hero i have on which server. Logged on to check a dude last night ..had some guy i had logged off at NE airfield under a tree with a hatchet a tin of food and two tyres. Cannot even remember who the hell he is.

My partner and i chased this 'vehicle' for about five or so minutes on a dirt road going North near Lopatino. She had seen it in the distance through the trees while i was checking our six. I looked and could not see anything but we set off, me thinking they may be heading to a camp and at the very least we can either score a set of wheels, get into a shootout or raid some gear. So about two minutes down this road i am like.. sooooooo what sort of vehicle was it ? She is like..ummm i dunno, a car or truck. Soooooo a car or a truck ? She says..well i only just saw it briefly , but yeah,,probably a car. I am like..sooooooo, probably ...oorrrrr ? Well i don't really know, but it looked like a car moving down the road. I am dubious because you can normally hear stuff a mile away as well as see the dust, in this case i saw nothing and would have turned and looked only a few seconds after she said " A VEHICLE!!!" So anyway we are now about 5 or so minutes down this road and she says ..'OVER THERE!! A PERSON !! ' I look and the only thing i can see is a pig a bit off to our left..just to confirm i look where she is looking and then say..mmmm tasty bacon people..was it a tasty bacon car too ? So now i get in the shit everytime i call out a BUS!!! (cow) or a HELICOPTER !!! ( bird). She stills believes it was a car.

The thing is you do not know if they are online , you may find something so simple as a single tent with a few items or a car stashed in some trees, or you come across a looted shop with some dead zeds and you can be fairly sure someone is in the area..or at least has been in the area within a certain time frame. You can track someone if you can connect the dots of their journey, a dropped bag with items in it out the back of a shop or building, all the good items taken from a lootspawn, dead zeds further on, possibly a dead animal, a broken car in the bush, a dead player, single shots in the distance etc and you can get a general direction of travel....keeps you on your toes :) The two big cities will obviously stay in game , just hoping they add more to the interior and up past the airfield so it is more of draw for the 'townies'. Personally i gtfo away from the coast as soon as i have some morphine, once i have that i won't even hang around long enough to look for food, drink or a weapon and i certainly don't waste my time coming back down once i am decently geared. Easier kills can be found at the coast if that is a persons certain style but you just do not seem to have anything to lose by hanging around the coastal reagion. Up top takes a little bit of travel time and like Guardian said, most of my really cool adventures have been had far away from the coastal shooting spree.

No retreat no surrender ...and no whining :thumbsup: :beans:
