Beans for spending a few hours to show off your idea :) :beans: I am the same, i custom map all of my games so nothing in an intro tutorial intro is going to help me in any way as a noob, trial and error in game is where it's at , easy, hard or brutal. It is not a terrible idea but it is a bit hand holdey for my liking. Tips..i despise tips in games, even when you have the option to turn them off..you know that they just want to pop up and go.." Now player.. engage brain and press W key..this makes you walk forward.." faaaaark off :) A small area where you can possibly practice some moves and muck around with vid/audio settings would be a better idea :)

There needs to be more common animals for starters like dogs, cats, horses, rats. I think rats have been mentioned previously.

Would a lockout timer apply to Admins ?

How about the longer you live the shorter the cooldown. May inspire some to go for a long life. Short life/small cooldown just keeps the city deathmatch alive. I was not originally a fan of the lockout timer deal that has been brought up multiple times ( glitch or hacker death)..but i mean if you are dead there is no real rush to get back to that particular server anyway i suppose ,so it may work. Not being able to loot your own body should have been implemented a long time back. Like Chab posted above, there is always a way around a supposed 'fix' though.

because why tell people who do not or don't want to know about it ? and... duping is fucked thats why :) One quick addition, if you do the old gun switcheroonie the wrong way around in your backpack and the backpack eats its..step back until you cannot see the grass in the area where you were and you will see your gun/item laying on the ground within a 5 or so metre radius of were you where. Same for tents eating items. One other thing, maybe it depends on servers but deerstands have seemed like a massive waste of time for a long time now. I have a better chance of a gun by running to the NW Field via Zeleno (15-20 minute bolt) than finding tin cans and ammo in deerstands :) I don't even look at them anymore. Hatchet rules for zed killing.

Regarding games, i got over mainstream gaming a fair while back and DayZ has been the only thing i have been sold on for a long time otherwise it is hardcore flight simming for a decent experience. You clearly never followed seven years of CloD development..or Duke..or Warz..or or or ;) Its a huge list and the DayZ guys don't even get a sniff at being on it.

I have only been hitchcocked once, the birds were pretty cool and immersive actually as well as being slightly creepy.

We all have dead spots on our fingers from running since May, if we make it from the Cherno beach to the Cherno shops without cramping up we consider that a large adventure ;)
