As an accompaniment to seasons (which may or may not be implemented and if so, would be an instant type thing. Summer..server restart BAM ! winter.) would be some sort of nature type mechanic such as flowers slowly blooming in the morning and closing by dusk. More and varied bird song in the morning and at dusk, different birds signalling the start and end of a day- just a general feel of a waking up of the world and then everything settling back down. could be cool :)

None of my AB's were found in hospitals..in fact they hardly ever were in any iteration of the mod.

How about crafting a slingshot type device with tyre tubes in between two study trees so i don't have to lug a mortar around with me :)

I must have been lucky so far, three days in with a new char, no infection yet, two antibiotics on me and two in a tent :) I am actually surprised with my survival as i thought this latest patch was going to be killer and i went in to it keeping away from the zeds and taking them down from a distance. I have been knocked down three times at Krasno field and managed to get away and replenish to full blood each time. Loot although rarer is still around enough, rolling with a DMR, g36 camo and a G17 atm. M1911, pdw, spare g17 and mp5 in tent. Seems zeds spawn a lot slower after clearing an area now as well which is handy.

Hospitals mainly but morph has several random spawn places like the hangars at Balota airfield or the military tents near Balota. Cherno has two hospitals as well as hospital tents. You are at the best stage of DayZ, learning where everything is, the game is new...you will die often and make many poor choices...enjoy :)

The item you need before guns, bigger backpacks etc is morphine, make morph your priority number 1 in dayz.

I broke a leg at the beach once, didn't even get four foot past my spawn point after falling unconscious and bleeding out. Not a rock, door or zed involved. just tough fucking sand. Chernarus is a whole different reality man.
