A lot of your questions/topics are already answered in depth at Reddit, you just have to do some searching..most will have Rocket in the topic so this will make it easier ROCKET You might not like Reddit but it's the best place for following what's going on, besides playing experimental obviously. :)

After many many sound dramas with this game over the years i went back to full standard windows sound drivers, never been better. Gunshots at a distance and direct is finally working as it should. My partner has issues picking up direct and doesn't hear a lot of the gunshots i do. Same with a guy who just built a brand new rig with a whoop di doo sound card, latest drivers, older drivers, whatever settings..random gunshots.

Still waiting to hear back on the pm at Redddit for the exchange time and server, will pm you here too :)

Didn't Rocket just say in a recent vid or blog or something similar that he told some of the guys to get out and look at other games, other ideas etc in relation to coming up with ideas for the inventory system ?

Last week...

The click clicking/ metal tap tap sound ? If so it has been around at least a few weeks now and is all over the map, it sometimes even happens at the char select screen. edit- speeeeeelinngh

*Sigh* Some sound work has been done. Footsteps, some guns changed, added ambient but the bulk of it is yet to come as stated a while back several times by Dean. We are only 7 months with 4 and a bit to go if they are to go Beta by December. It hasn't all been hats and trinkets.

Dean stated on Reddit that sound comes near the end..so ..we wait.

Not really :) it is a bit of a bastard to run down with an axe down though for the first time after being used to the old slow animals for so long. Elk and Boar are also much improved. Just to keep Ceppy happy i let them remain wandering.
