You may remember Lok, how chaotic the il2 devs were with communication, especially when it rolled into pac fighters and '46 and then of course CloD. Same with the strike fighters devs..same with a lot of devs. These are not AAA titles we are talking about here. They are smallish teams juggling a lot of balls at once. I think a lot of players/users do not think that they have anything else on their plate excepting the game. Day to day life, family, bills, every man and his dog on a hundred different sites asking questions and demanding answers... and of course all of the 'game producers' that seem to have popped up in here the last few months stating how they would run it ;) The last three places i have worked have been more chaotic than here and no matter how hard we try and keep that customer happy, we still get shat on daily. But we keep on pumping on. Just think, when you go to bed after a fairly normal day and have got your couple of hours of gaming in and are all snuggled up on your pillow and cuddling your teddies, the devs are more than likely sitting there with their eyes bloodshot and hanging on their cheeks with a million things burning at the back of their brains. I don't know how many times these devs had to say 'Don't buy the game yet..it's really basic and needs fucktons of work and you will more than likely have a fairly shitty time'. Gotta love it. I

He may have been coming to help you, that may have been what he saying on voip. I mean if he didn't shoot you immediately upon entering the hangar..more than likely he was't going to..but you never really know,i am too easy to give people the benefit of the doubt if they are not shooting at me :)

I found that as well. My fps since release seem to be actually getting slowly worse. Had an hour session on Saturday and it was the worst fps and stutter/lag wise that i have seen in a long time. Hoping they really start doing something about optimizing soon.

For me it doesn't either, but i can see how some (maybe a lot) would gear up on an easy 3p server and then go sniper hunting or whatever in 1p.

It sounds like your forgot a little bit what the forums were actually like back in the early days, remember when the mod really boomed May/June ? The forums were rank :D of course the sa has injected a lot more into since then and community is larger and probably younger but it still has a good solid core. Just skip the fluff :) Personally i prefer the sa even at this early stage and in fact loved it straight out the door, especially compared to where the mod ended up latish last year. Also looking at gaming in general and it really still is pretty niche. One thing i have noticed is a lot of the old hands have made their presence felt again here which is much coolio.

The fact that you cannot loot up in 3rd and then hop to 1st is the best part.

Grimey Rick, don't live up to your nickname. Why don't you try the medic squad ? If not an actual medic then an over watch for the good doctors. We have enough kos, the servers badly need more medical types :)

2nd char 1st char died due to an axeman just past Dolina, she spawned at Elektro on a 25 pop 1st server and at her death by hatchet she had a mosin with 20 rounds, backpack, couple of cans of drink and some spaghetti. An hour later and the server reset, spent another thirty minutes legging it to Krasno with the above pictured char. I thought shit had got real and was expecting hard times ahead. Hmmmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. ;)

You are correct, one server.. i congratulate you on your reading skills:) Why hop when you don't need to, and honestly..if you have to hop to get gear then why bother playing. And out of interest,i spawned just South of Sol, looted all the way up to Bere, down to the wharf area,up to Khelm/Krasno town and then the mil buildings at Krasno. Logged at Olsha. I still cannot manage to open or read books since a few patches back. I did try one at Berezino on my way through to see if they worked for me yet but no joy.
