Generally only anyone at any of the airfields if they are geared, but in saying that i have held fire and met up with plenty of others who do not kos as well and we have gone on our ways. If it is a group of three or four they will tend to fire first though so it becomes a watch and wait deal. I prefer to see how people are acting before shooting, kos is just too easy and honestly imo it is boring.

Finally purchased an ssd, Samsung 840 evo 250gb, clean install of win 7(32bit)and installed Steam and SA. This is on an old rig (i5, gtx560ti, budget gigabyte mobo, 4gb ram)that can not using the full capacity of the ssd as my mobo is only sata II so i can't utilise the sata III 6gbs speeds, difference is about 285/275MB/s(3gbs)read and write v 550/520MB/s(6gbs). v roughly 50/120MB/s for an average hdd. Launch game, settings to medium across the board and running through Svetlo is like a hot knife through butter. With my hdd Svetlo was effing terrible, it became the town i couldn't go to even on low settings. Pumped Objects, textures, shadows,terrain to very high and i can still run through Svetlo very comfortably, couple of times i had micro pauses but %100 better than what the hdd could do on max low with everything tweaked to squeeze every frame possible out. I have not even trimmed windows down yet or applied any cfg or launch settings to look for any more frames yet. Happy times for under 160 bucks :)

Back when i got win 7 i opted for the cheap option, idiot, hopefully 64, mobo and new processor soonish :) Yes..it is quite painful :)

I would say it is what Vatix states below. Because of the ultra slow texture loading i was getting, especially noticable in Svetlo where i would only see double frames if i stopped, and then going to full fluid motion with random micro stutters..it gives the appearance of more fps. Compared, it is like going from walking in mud to skating on ice. I was going to do some min/max fps testing around Svet just to get some figures but since the latest stable update i am getting heaps of crashing which seems to be affected by my gear, gear on, crash..strip naked, all good, Go figure. Testing resumes again tomorrow lol. Poor bastard, i know your pain. Save them pennies :)

I will be happy when i can throw hot baked logs at punching new spawns.

No way was i doing a migration, clean was the only way to go :) Drivers are always up to date, unless the latest or beta is worse than older one obviously :)

I did a clean win 7 install on a new hdd about two months ago. No difference in game at all. I always run a lean machine but still generally do a fresh install once a year.

Don't know :) Huge improvement my end though. I was still getting terrible frames in Svetlo on the latest exp net msg and 100 man servers yesterday morning, the only thing changed is installation of the ssd, it is like going from crawling to running. Yeah i am going to start sussing it tweaks etc soon :) I was geting periods of seconds of inactivity in Svetlo, and it was a stuttery clusterfuck at best :) Made the joint totally unplayable. To go from that on low settings to now running on high and only getting random micro stutters is massively different :) This was on a full server as well. It wasn't something as simple a bad hdd either, all other games play smoothly and once away from the bigger cities so did the SA. I need to get some more hours in, did 6 yesterday and haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face yet.

I wish, need a new cpu to go with :)

Fully geared in thirty minutes on the 100 server, 85 peeps in game. Sks and scope, M4 with acog and backup rds, revolver plus rounds, healthy status. Sitting in Zeleno after spawning near Sol,waiting to bump into someone..ain't seen a soul.

So what happens if you 'wall glitch' because you need to 'check your surroundings' and there is someone in the building that is not cheating and simply looting ? Is that just ..well he probably was going to anyway or..? Either way it doesn't matter because now you have the drop on him, and he has no idea he has been spotted. Or are you saying that we should simply all do it and you are a naive idiot for not doing it ? If i blatantly see someone wall glitching then it is a different story, but until you know for sure that someone is then you cannot justify it for yourself . It just simply doesn't wash with me, people can justify whichever way they need to to feel ok about it.

Why people state this is beyond me. Just because it is there does not mean everyone who knows how is doing it. It isn't a hack but it is definitely a lamo cheat.

A total lunar eclipse will occur on April 15, 2014. It will be visible from North America, South America and Australia. Parts of Asia, Africa and Europe will see a partial eclipse. Can confirm..saw it in Australia.

I did the mod from june 2012 until just before release of SA on the shittiest internet known to mankind and considered 100-150 a good ping.most;ly was up around the low 200 mark :) If i play reg in SA i go for the low ping aussie servers but HC on 200 odd seems pretty good. The terrible Lag, desync and other glitches in this game makes ping seem the least of anyones worries anyway lol.
