I waltzed from Cherno to NW airfield last night..twice, because of a non save issue. Stopped at the same heli crash two times and crouching plus proning in i aggroed 0 out of 7 zeds. Cruised around the barracks at NW field and the hangars and only aggroed 1 zed . Hit two barns on the way up the second time for a looksee and still never aggroed a zed. I was expecting 1.7.2 to be a massacre after reading all of the posts yesterday but really ? Maybe i need to stroll around town a bit. The only zeds that went me were a bunch of 5 or 6 at one of the long barn buildings outside of Cherno that i aggroed on purpose so i could waste a clip of ammo and pick up a water bottle. Another one of them i easily lost running into the bush when exiting the area.

1 Cooked meat..rabbit no less, he was only a pup so not chewy at all. I am currently at the NW airfield watching the sniper and server hopper hijinks , underneath the fifth forest tree from the end of the runway in a ghille, hatchet in hand awaiting a chance to lunge.

Funny thread. Never going to happen. As already pointed out, you only have a few spots to fill in your bag and you want people to risk time at a loot pile by picking up cans and bottles and then wasting more time dumping it outside so the next player who prances can come out in front ? Never going to happen. Take what you need and leave it up to whoever wants to loot camp to take the risk. If you can get everyone to agree to not kill anyone they see at a loot pile or dumping loot then maybe it will all be flowers and ponies..until then...no. I don't think you thought the whole concept through properly Kyono :) ..but it was a nice thought nonetheless.

With the six launcher, select server , verify and away you go..six launcher will download only the NEEDED files to join server, simple as :) You can swap between betas, dayz alpha patches etc in seconds and be in game.

Good way to check is to see if it is the same with arma offline :) core2duo is getting on a bit now and you do not mention your graphics card or os.

Nothing new just dribblin..exited the cherno apartments with a bit of gear, helped a newbie get a backpack and an m1911, said goodbye then cruised around the back of the hospital and down the road to head for the fire station and a possible gun for myself Coming over the brow of a small grassy bit of land opposite the fire station i see a guy with an alice pack ,crouch walking, ak up and pointed at some zeds meandering down the street. I have only my axe propped on my shoulder and sit there watching him moving slowly towards the station. There is only two zeds in front of him and walking away so no aggro, i pop up a bit more and start crouch walking towards the station, we are probably 20 feet max from each other when he disappears. *plink* I stop..look around.Hmmm.back off and go prone still looking at the firestation and checking my six. After about a minute or so i slowly approach the fire station door nearest the stairs , sure enough he has reappeared inside the station just behind the door..luckily i saw his ak poking out, ready to nail me. I back off , slowly and hear him repositioning inside as i hear the sound of footseps on the stairs. I then run madly around the station aggroing a bunch of zeds, i get 5 behind me then run inside, he has bolted up the stairs by now. I coach them over to near the stairs then bolt out again heading for the supermarket. About thirty seconds later i hear ak shots going off in the direction of the firestation. I smile and think, well now everyone knows where you are plus your wasting ammo. I head for the hills with my newly found akm wondering if this idiot is still looking for me.

Fully passes the time at work ;) thanks for your invaluable input though..here is Saw guy, he saw me, he dc'd , i got zeds on him then i was lulz, was epic . eos. (please give me rep and stars and lotsa like) @ Neo, not complaining, just mentioning in passing :) Because i was only armed with an axe i found it weird that he would even dc, then take the time to join another server, walk into the firestation and then reconnect to tthe original server so he could pop me.I think he must have seen me..shit himself and been so worried about having his char killed ..oh the horror..that he did not even register that i only had an axe. Anyway i found it mildly amusing. If he would have hung around and realised i posed no threat i could have thrown him some morphine and some ammo i had stored. Worst case, he would have popped me anyway and i would have started another life. I dont get how they play this way and enjoy the game, but each to their own. ..oh yeh possible tldr warning. a shortened version for the facebook one line only readers..

Nice piece or work dude :) Currently using sixlauncher with nil issues at all, its a piece of piss , i dont understand all the hate lol. plus we like to stuff around with other arma mods as well, but a dedicated Dayz launcher is wicked. Loving the time feature.

weird. The six updater works fine here but i know some people have issues with it. I dont see how manual is failing unless you are putting the files in the wrong folder ? ( Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons ) all dayz files should be in the addons folder. Are you trying to join servers that have the beta patch and you are vanilla 1.7.1.5 ? I know all of the above may be basic but it is generally the basics that we overlook :) What is the error you are getting ?
