Sorry man, i was havin a cook fest with my former friend Jake , the wanderer of the wild fields cow and i dozed off after three chunky pieces of his fine fine rump. I woke up and shit was getting real all around me, like Towering Inferno real. Running back and forth from the close by pond with only a water bottle i kept on trying to put out some small tufts of grass but i was thirsty from running up the hill every time and kept drinking the contents instead. This is partly the reason i never made it past my firefighter training, the other problem was falling asleep at the hose.

Yep..it was hit and miss for me last night, when i finally did get into to a random server via six ( dayzcommander would not work at all for any servers ) the game was in s u p e r s i n g l e d i g i t f r a m e r a t e s , far more annoying than reading that writing. Restart of pc solved the frames but still it was pot luck on a working server.

I didnt find my first gps until a few nights ago in the miltary tents at Berzino. Just luck of the draw.Maps can pop up nearly anywhere and are nowhere near as rare.

Foot Falcon..pedal to the metal all the way is a max of 40 minutes. I am surprised everytime i head up to the field that i am not stuck in the middle of a marathon group, it can be a lonely journey.

Shooting at a zed that was coming into the doorway of a barn i was checking out, i fired four at it..the last shot hit my mate in the face. He had run around to directly behind it. My mate getting revenge and plugging me in the leg with the mak when we were in the middle of nowhere.Snap broken legs.With no bloodpacks, meat, food or morhine.After he had finished laughing and i told him my legs were broken he said ...yeh.. i didnt really think it through did i. Doing front wheel downhill wheelies on the bicycle. Having a flare throwing competition off the top of the mountain/hill near Balota. It was close..we called it a tie. Telling my lady that the Boars bite.. watching her creeping in trying to get close with the hatchet to kill one. Watching people run around like mad with flares/ chemsticks in their hand with a train of Zeds..always makes me laugh. Watching people crawl across big open fields in the middle of fuckbutt nowhere, i want to shoot them out of sympathy, but it is amusing. Watching a three car car chase in the same middle of buttfuck nowhere, ten minutes later nearly getting run over by a truck then being chased into the forest by some freako on a trailbike whilst his maniacal laughter came across direct.

yeh i am thinking they are in boss run mode and he is in normal run.

I dont mind the akm, it is probably my most used gun in the game besides the m1911, i do prefer the Kobra sight plus it is quieter than the akm :)

Yeah i have had to do this a few times with the packs. Also i came across the shops at Zeleno with another char a while back, was watching a trio of guys loot camp it to buggery. They left with whatever it was they must have been looking for , i am guessing matches as that was the only item i could not find in the ninety two million items dumped outside. Took me forever to pick up an Alice pack they left there as it was surrounded by four thousand flares a million watches and untold cans of beans, pepsi and mak mags. Made me wonder if somone in turn came along, saw me trying to get that Alice pack and was thinking..jeheebuz, that dude must have been loot camping that shop all night. Seriously..it looked like a B double had just upended its whole load along the street outside of the shop, the things you see.

Thanks chaps, carrying on ever forward. Heading back into Berezino to try my luck again , need a backpack again. I still have the GPS to play with and the AK74S so i count the raid as well worthwhile. WoRtEx ..i guess that was divorce then eh.. the blindside type :)..women. I will try that next time SystemiK , i generally always drop the pack as i am paranoid about one of them swallowing gear in the changeover.

Definitely do not want more vehicles..sometimes it is like peak hour traffic as it is :D I watched a three car chase the other night, nearly got run over by a truck then was chased ny a motorbike with some crazy dude laughing at me over direct. No more vehicles. Map size is too small once you know it, i am too paranoid to place a tent anywhere. Give us another 500 miles to play with please. I am fine with the distances, i just miss my cryo invisibilty stealth mode ;) Getting shot by a random sniper after doing the run up north is what makes you keep on edge. Zeds are too easy, that i agree with. I dont wanna see your ass.

I like the current map style , it has a fair bit of variety but yes , huge mountain ranges and big cities that make Cherno look like a suburb would be awesome. Long as he doesnt pick a desert map ;)

Sounds like you need to learn how your gear and toolbelt works :) Say you have your flashlight equipped - in hand, if you find a handgun, Mak, M1911, Revolver , before you pick up the handgun, open your gear , right click on your flashlight and select the option add to toolbelt, this will move it onto your toolbelt and out of your hand, then you can pick up the handgun without losing your flashlight. If you can get hold of a g17 handgun it has a built in flashlight (L), possibly your dream weapon. Check the beginners guide here for a bit of help with how to use your inventory/item changing and how to use your backpack http://dayzwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=A_Beginners_Guide#Guns.2C_Gear_and_Inventory All buildings that you can see into the windows are enterable, barns are a good bet for at least a hatchet and sometimes a winchester..leave the double barrell shotgun, its more pain than it is worth.BOOM! six more zeds coming at you and you have to reload the stinking thing and you only have two more rounds that you found , i would rather have a dried out sunflower stalk with a bee on it. The hatchet can be a problem until you get your inventory sussed out properly as it takes the primary slot. If you pick up a primary weapon like a Winchester/Lee enfield/AKM/AK74 etc you will lose the hatchet... if it is in hand (your primary slot)..same rule applies, open your gear, right click on the hatchet option add to toolbelt, then pickup the primary. As a weapon though the hatchet is wicked, quiet and deadly. It will not notify the town of your presence unlike the shottie which will have people at the top of the map looking up and wondering if it is going to rain. A lot of the smaller village like places are hardly worth the risk going into unless your desperate :) You really only need the mak and a winnie or lee enfield (the dinner bell) to start heading inland as you can gun up at several inland places, deer stands, heli crashes or some of the military sites like Stary the airfields or Berezino military camp. The winnie is not a long distance gun but it is a good one shot zed killer, awesome in towns for close in stuff. The lee enfield is good for decent medium range shooting but as loud as fuck , hence the dinner bell tag. The winnie or Lee enfield and mak are common ammo spawns in barns and pretty much every loot spot, you are rarely desperate for ammo for them so its a good starter combo. Any of the bigger towns are higher risk areas, Cherno, Elektro, Berezino, lots of spawning on the coast so heaps of fresh meat for people to pile up in the streets. The other hotspots are anywhere where there is military grade loot, all of the airfields, military camps and heli crashes. Thats where you will find the best weapons thus they are the most dangerous places to gain a hole in the forehead. Guns guns guns! Everyone wants the big gear :) You can make a good go of it though with minimal gear, just make sure you have some basics, morphine (nothing like getting broken legs 2 hours crawl time from the nearest hospital) , a couple of cans of food, matches, hatchet, knife, water bottle your trusty mak and a primary. Everything else after that is a luxury.

Wonder if they made it... I just left the Berezino shops, 3 packs of matches. Sounds like they are learning a lesson though, never travel inland without bloodpacks :) If you are a fresh spawn and travelling with a mate, hit the hospital first. Bloodpacks and Morphine dudes. Good luck.
